Can we please stop acting like Moxley didn’t do exactly what he was doing as Ambrose in WWE? Came out through the crowd and hit both guys with Dirty Deeds. “WAR IS ON!” Some of you are drinking way too much AEW Kool-Aid. Yeah but in WWE he never hit more than one guy with it in the same night. And he never hit it on anyone on part of the stage or set. THEY WERE HOLDING HIM DOWN! HE'S UNSCRIPTED VIOLENCE NOW!

Lets call a spade a spade Ambrose/Moxley was the 3rd member of the Shield but WWE had the crazy obsession that Roman Reigns had to be the big star from the group, and Rollins was getting pushed thru the moon when he turned heel on them. They did give him some runs with titles, but always seemed to gravitate more towards the other 2. This is good for him let him go out and show what he can do.

I can see him going back to CZW Tournament of Death coming up. They could use a big name. Havoc-Moxley in the finals

Came out through the crowd and hit both guys with Dirty Deeds. “WAR IS ON!” Some of you are drinking way too much AEW Kool-Aid. a lot of people felt he wasn’t used properly in WWE, rather you agree with that or not. AEW, Moxley, and the fans are just excited about the potential of seeing him used in the capacity they wished. like it or not, Double or Nothing was the biggest thing to happen in the wrestling world for close to 20 years. it’s shaking things up, and the industry needs that badly.

It’s not shaking a single thing up. Just like All In, it was a show for all of The Elite marks. An event that showcased washed up talent, WWE rejects, a bunch of talent that Hunter and Vince have no interest in/have no idea existed... and a handful of talent that deserve far much more spotlight.
Until they put out decent weekly TV, they’re just another Indy promotion. Double or Nothing had lots of flaws, delivered a mediocre main event and everything else has been seen so much the last several years.
Hopefully once they get TV, they drop the TNA/ROH/NJPW formula and create something worth tuning into every week. Start by dropping Jim Ross and the Mauro wannabe. JR pretty much phones it in. Guy just doesn’t have it anymore, which is understandable.

You dont have to choose a side.

And we’re excited to see what it may become.

You dont have to choose a side. I’m not choosing a side. As far as roster goes, the WWE hands down has the better in-ring talent. WWE’s issue is the creative writing with storylines. I can’t comment on any storylines from AEW, as these were just made feuds during the AEW rally party. Dustin/Cody build was good, match was good, forward progress of Rhodes/Bucks should be good. Either way, I still think NXT has the best overall product in wrestling today. Sure, it’s a shell of what it once was... but these TakeOver specials still deliver each and every time. I thought Jim Ross was awful on commentary Saturday night. I personally think someone else paired with Excalibur as a two-man team would be the best option.

AEW has some bright points, although very few. The roster leaves a LOT to be desired outside of a handful of men/women. The show itself felt like the caliber of an ROH show quality wise. Also some pathetic moments for a “jab” at the WWE and Hunter. Focus on AEW. There is no war... yet.

It’s humorous... like it or not. have you seen the indie board here the last 5 years? we have like no indie marks left on the board. criticisms are one thing, but like the majority of your posts, I find yours abundantly negative. if you could wheel back your front of ‘lol AEW marks r dumb they love stuff that WWE does 2’, there might be some room for conversation. but you do you.

The irony is strong with this one.
Disagree all you want, but you clearly are getting far too defensive over someone’s opinion on wrestling.
I’ll continue having my opinion. You can either block/hide my posts (please do), or learn to accept my opinion.

I said from day 1 Ambrose wouldn't do well in WWE, Rollins has the moveset Reigns has the look. Ambrose is brawler and hardcore based he doesn't fit what WWE are. Glad to see him in AEW where they may be able to let him do more of the stuff he excels at.

I saw highlights and thought it was cool. His timing with the Dirty Deeds to Jericho was executed poorly, but besides that, I thought he seemed reinvigorated. As whether or not it was the right move... time will tell. Things may change once the weekly shows are booked and TNT gets involved. However I don't think that this is the "End of WWE" or "WWE will humiliate Renee on live TV" like others online have said. That's dumb. Don't be dumb. I remember someone tweeting "WWE is in trouble, Jon Moxley is in AEW, WWE is in f***ing trouble". Lol, im hating this WWE vs AEW talk. Just enjoy both promotions. I want AEW to succeed as much as I want WWE to succeed.

I think I’ll choose my third option, which is to call you on being condescending and ignorant when you choose to be. have whatever opinions you wish, learn to not be a dick. I’m by no means the first on the forum to call you out for being one. this is all pretty funny when the guy who couldn’t handle a tna board mod spot ‘cause the pressure’ tries to pull the tough guy role.

The pressure? No, the product sucked and members like you (especially sodaguy) continually cried that I criticized the product. “Why are you a mod if you don’t like TNA?” Maybe do some research instead of making stupid assumptions. Thanks. Hahaha
