Didn’t realize these were still coming out. I guess I thought they were fixing the scale and that’s why they took like 5 years. I’m so uninterested at this stage.
Sad as I wanted Juvi, Ultimo and any legends that appeared in wcw or wwf.

I was planning on buying the Taya figure, but with how the scale sits i'm going to be passing on her. That does go for all future releases by boss fight if they continue with this scale. Doesn't make sense to make wrestling figures in todays market if they don't scale well with other companies offerings especially if they are doing wrestlers that hasn't been made yet. Shame they look good, but scale horrible.

Can anybody with the first Rey/Penta post what the boot peg looks like? I'm wondering if it would be possible to swap on a Mattel or Jazwares boot. I think that would bump Juvi about to the right height. He's 5'5 and I think Jericho is around 5'10

I think that would bump Juvi about to the right height. He's 5'5 and I think Jericho is around 5'10 I've been meaning to look into this ever since I got my Fenix and Penta figures from them. I just picked up my Juvi figure today. I will see what I can do later this week and report back, if nobody else beats me to it. I do think the Jericho figure they used as a comparison was kind of a bad choice. Some of the Mattel Basics are out of scale IMO. I think a better comparison would have been with a Mattel Elite Rey Mysterio, since Rey and Juvi are around the same height. It was probably a quick photo and whoever took it probably didn't have lots of figures laying around, so I get it. The Major Pod IG has a pic up now comparing Taya and Chelsea Green's Mattel Basic. Taya's scale looks pretty good in that pic, IMO. The Major Pod IG also has a few pictures from the BFS booth at Expo Lucha. They've added Taya and Vampiro to the wave 3 Premium figure line-up. They showed renders for those, along with renders of Fanaticos wave 2. I haven't heard if anything else was revealed during the panel. For the record, the upcoming line-ups are: Premium Wave 2: Lady Maravilla Konnan Pentagon Jr. Fenix Premium Wave 3: Tinieblas Jr. Laredo Kid Taya Valkyrie Vampiro Fanaticos Wave2: Black Taurus Perro Aguayo Jr. Ultimo Dragon Vampiro

I've been loving the potential dream figs in this line, but am really hoping the figures aren't too terribly out of scale with the rest of my collection.

I had preordered the premium Konnan and the Fanaticos Taya on Amazon some time ago. Now that they showed the fender of a premium Taya, I cancelled hers and will wait for that.

Looks like they're still way out of scale. Glad I cancelled my Juvi preorder...No interest in collecting these now. Mattel/Jazwares don't interest me so the Legends figures might actually be more in my ball park scale-wise, so I won't lie, I'm pretty happy about this 😄

I don’t understand with the two main wrestling companies having lines that are scale with one another how you think creating a line not in scale with them makes any sense. They have literally left hundreds of dollars on the table by not scaling these appropriately While this is certainly true regarding the money aspects, there are still people out there who simply aren't interested in the two main lines. Not everything has to follow on from Mattel's lead when some people don't take any interest in them to begin with. I personally can't stand the look of Mattel or Jazwares, I hated Jakks beyond the BCA line as well.

While some might not care for the scale it would have been smarter to go with a reasonable similar scale to both AEW and WWE figure scales. It would also satisfy both sides of the collector's market rather than just one those who collect one line of figures for it own stand alone collection and those who collect to mix them with an already existing wrestling figure collection thus expanding upon that collection. The Legends of Lucha Libre line looks good if not great that I won't take away from them. But I would like my figures to scale properly with one another and I know that BossFight does have intentions to market these to the current wrestling figure market, because they are making figures of wrestlers that I know people who collect the WWE line have been wanting for years guys like Vampiro and Ultimo Dragon being two of them. I do look forward to what these guys do in the future and the reveals they did this weekend were awesome if I'm being honest especially with the premium line expanding to 4 figures. I just hope they listen to the feedback and work on improving the line rather than making excuses for it. Plus it would more likely be the only way we get some these wrestlers in figure form.

Bought Penta and Phenix but won't by more unless they are really discounted due to the scale. I undertstand they can't change all the tools as they have several lines but they could increase the high of the boots or find some tricks to improve the scale.

You are in the very small minority of people that didn't want these in the same scale as every other wrestling figure on the market. It's bad business to make them in another scale that's completely different than everything else. Boss Fight is guaranteed to loose sales based on that alone.

Is there actual evidence that they're spewing money because they don't scale with Mattel or Jazwares?

I didn't say they were going to lose money on these, I said they were going to lose sales because they made a stupid decision to scale these down for whatever reason. The proof is this thread, tons of people here said they won't buy these because they scaled the figures down. Those are lost sales. It was a dumb decision to make figures that don't scale with any other wrestling figure being produced today.
