Despite his age, I'm surprised WCW didn't offer him a deal in 92.
I think it was probably mainly Bravo didn't wanna travel anymore. He was probably burnt out.
I remember his last match that I seen him in was a UK PPV in 1992 and he had the black hair again.

Yeah that was his last hurrah in the WWF.
I remember him having a match on PTW during the Summer of 91 with his black hair and was portrayed as a babyface.Came outta nowhere since he was off TV post Mania VII.
I'm like when did he turn? haha

The Dino Bravo story was interesting! The wrestling part was like 15 minutes and the rest was about his life after wrestling. Crazy stuff! His daughter was really pretty though. That was a bonus! Ha ha What I got out of the documentary was... 1. Dino was the man in Montreal 2. Rick Martel knows more than he is letting on to not want to be on this documentary 3. The police are clearly paid off by the mafia to not do anything about the Bravo death But the real question is, what are the chances of getting a Dino Bravo Mattel figure?

Rick has gone into detail on what he knows. The word is nowadays Martel wants to keep as far away from wrestling as he can. He's moved on, that's why, according to Bruce Prichard, he turned down the Hall of Fame. But yea, I agree, like in the Snuka case, the police know a heck of a lot more then they are letting in on. Come on, how many other people in that neighborhood were getting whacked? Dino knew something was going to happen. And his daughter? Oh la la!!!

None since his wife gave away all of his wrestling stuff. Since she did that, do you seriously think his wife would sign a legends/Merch deal?

People keep begging for a Dino Bravo figure, it's never going to happen

Why did that Hogan Bravo match get pulled? Vince? Seems like Vince is not having a good showing this season.

Why did that Hogan Bravo match get pulled? Vince? Seems like Vince is not having a good showing this season. They were afraid that Bravo would have gotten a bigger pop then Hogan. They didn't want Hogan to look like a heel. Which if it was a house show, who cares? Let Bravo play the face and win and they could have sold the place out and then had a return where Hogan gets his win back. Easy money. Wrestling was different back then. Promoters wanted their face to be strong no matter if it was a house show or TV. Same thing happened to Jake Roberts.

Montreal was definitely a head of its time with the fans cheering the hometown hero.
Bret Hart was Canadian, and could wrestle in Calgary and still get booed in 1987. Dino Bravo, The Rougeau Bros., Rick Martel, all got baby face reactions in Montreal even if they were the heels at the time.

Maybe it was all the subtitles (which couldn’t be helped), but I thought last nights episode could have been done much better than it was.

People keep begging for a Dino Bravo figure, it's never going to happen I didn't hear that. I thought she said she got rid of all his stuff just after the death because it was too hard to be around reminders of him so soon after his death. Did she say that she hates the wrestling business and wants nothing to do with it?

Having action figures of Dino Bravo would probably be too painful for her to see

David Schultz and the infamous reporter incident is the episode next week.
I assume the Owen episode is the grand finale of season 2?
