They used to distort Nailz's real voice to make him sound more menacing I know. He used his real voice in that short lived AWF promotion. I was just about to mention that. He also was in WCW for a brief time known as The Prisoner but WWF put a stop to that

They should do an episode about the Pat Patterson sexual harassment allegations that happened back in the 80s. I would love to see one on The Plane Ride from Hell. Magnum TA would make a great episode.

I definitely want to see Brian Pillman, Magnum TA, maybe something along the lines of WCW in 2001

Nailz is such a strange case. Outside of him I really can't think of anyone who has completely shunned wrestling in 20 years. Even the most bitter guys still do shoots or autograph signings or even a non WWF event. I also am still very skeptical of the website he was supposedly running selling autographs and Nailz merch, considering how low key he has kept himself. Harry Smith confirms it was really him as he bought some stuff and apparently had a conversation about backstage at Summerslam 1992 that only he would know. But this is a guy, Smith, who thought it was OK to throw hot coffee at someone (Jake) and also confirmed a fake autograph of his father was real not knowing any better. I think he's pretty delusional about things from the past, though in somewhat of a child-like innocent way.
There were two pictures of Nails posted on his wife's facebook a year or two ago and after a fan had contacted asking questions they were immediately taken off. It's obvious he wants no part of wrestling or the fans and has a business he runs so I will always doubt he suddenly decided to run an autograph sales site. I would love to be proven WRONG. I do also wonder if anyone who goes to his business knows he he has. He's aged a bit and is bald on top, like Hogan so he'd probably be unrecognizable to anyone but a mega wrestling fan. I know he's turned down all convention requests and I think one place was really trying around 2005. I can't remember if he wanted way too much money or was uninterested or gave an outrageous sum knowing no one would bring him in.

Just looking at him I can hear that distorted voice they gave him.
