I think Bruce Prichard is a liar. The names were drawn from a bag and yet the tag team partners conveniently fight each other- Hawk vs Droz and Bart vs Holly. I’ve listened to a lot of his podcast and I feel Bruce has lied a lot. Contrary to what he has said in his podcast before going back to wwe, he is the ultimate Vince yes-man!

Things I took away from the Brawl For All episode... 1. Jim Ross saying, "nobody got over" in the Brawl For All is a lie. Bart Gunn got over. You just chose not to do anything with him. 2. Steve Williams in 1998 wasn't anywhere near as tough, or amazing as he was in 1988. Dr. Death was a bit long in the tooth in 1998 and the loss to Bart Gunn showed us that. 3. Jim Cornette is nuts. His hatred for Vince Russo is just ridiculous. I think Cornette hates the fact that Russo was creative enough at that time to do different things, and Cornette was still stuck in his NWA/Smoky Mountain Wrestling style of 'Southern wrestling' that he seems to get off on. 4. If the Brawl For All was a worked shoot then Dr. Death could have gotten the win and it would have saved a lot of hassle. Agreed on Bart Gunn. He definetly got over but since he ruined their ideal scenario, they wasted it. I really enjoyed this episode. The Godfather is such a fun dude man that'll kick your ass. Quite a combo. Seeing Droz was something. I felt kinda happy that he seems upbeat but the whole accident is just Owen Hart levels of sad. |

Just finished the Brawl For All episode.
This reminded me how much i hate Vince Russo.
And made me hate him even more.

DSOTR: Brawl for All takeaways:
1. Great theme music wasn’t mentioned or heard!
2. Steve Blackman would have won. He would have done it with defensive boxing and a lot of takedowns.
3. Prichard is a weasel. I listen to his podcast. He is a liar and is now getting talking points for the show from the company. The podcasts days are numbered.
4. Cornett/Russo shtick is a work.
5. Holly’s performance is underrated and he could have made it to the semi’s easily had he not had Bart rd1. Read Holly’s book he had great insight into the Brawl for All tournament.
6. The Droz/dlo incident I think was thrown in their bc they know they couldn’t get a full episode out of the tragedy but were able to secure them for interviews.
7. It was good to see Bart.
*Could someone explain the reworking of the brackets that was mentioned where Bart got Dr. Death all of a sudden. I don’t recall what happened.

Bart Gunn won the Royal Rumble and then beat the Rock at WM 15 for the WWF title in some alternate reality. It was Glorious.

He couldve even had a feud with Dan Severn, but they did nothing with him after BFA. On Vice After Dark, Vince Russo actually took responsibility for that and I think that's the first time Ive ever heard him blame himself for his failures. As much as I hate Russo, the one thing he was good at was coming up with storylines for everybody on the roster, even if 90% of those ideas were stupid. |

It was finally released on Uncaged VII, which, while awesome, is surprising it took so long considering how many people were screaming for it. And yes, the Uncaged version is the real one. I'm pretty sure the version they put on the Anthology back in the day was just... no. Oh, and for the record, it would be against my nature to not add the fact that the theme was also used by Shane as an entrance theme for his wrestling debut. |

Just finished the Brawl For All episode. This reminded me how much i hate Vince Russo. And made me hate him even more. F*ck You Vince Russo. I like how Bart Gunn kind of yelled at him when Russo said there were no favorites. Kevin Kelly told Bart everyone was hoping for Dr Death to win. |

Didn't him and his brother screw over some territory in 1984 to become part of the WWE?? I think that's why Brisco has always had a job there all those years and was so loyal to Vince and vice versa.
