This thread is a joy to read. Please nobody change the good natured vibe to it, it’s been a while since we had someone in the know post for us here.

I have one real question if youre still answering steve.
Any chance we might see an elite suited Dibiase this year?
Im surprised we are almost 10 years in without an elite black and gold suited Million dollar man

Action Figure Attack Thank you for bringing the power of positivity back to the board lol. If you don't mind me asking, how are WrestleMania and/or SummerSlam-themed sets decided on? Specifically, the non-FTITL Flashbacks that are chosen for those particular waves. I love the randomness of a 2003 Booker T figure or a 2006 Orton/Rey 2-Pack appearing "outta nowhere", and I've always wondered what the selection process is like.

So pleased we're getting an Elite '03 Goldberg - with a new/screaming scan too... hopefully the finished figure will look as good as the render. And that Gorilla Monsoon looks fantastic - at this point, I don't really care how or where he's being released... HE IS BEING RELEASED, that's the main thing.

Action Figure Attack this is a question that’s never really been addressed... is there any reason why some particular molds aren’t reused often? The legends 1 LOD boots come into place. They work well for Billy Gunn and Shawn Michaels, but have not been reused. Same with a laceless tall boot for guys like Kane and the Undertaker? Also, why haven’t we gotten a WCW ponytail lex Luger/jeans DDP/WCW Bret Hart? Just a design decision regarding the part choices. No reason for WCW Lex or Bret other than we just have to gotten to them yet. They’re doable. If i'm not too late for a Q Why is there a lack of Ruthless Aggression Era Edge Elites? We've had Attitude Era, 2008, 2009, and 2010, but no Elites from 2006-2007. Can we expect any 2006-2007 Edge Elites in the future? And is there a chance of a WrestleMania 23 HBK Elite in the future?

From the time he was on Nitro and Raw on the same night? I’d be happy with that. They did 3 heads with Nia. I’m sure they could do 3 heads for a suited fig. You have no idea how bad I want this.

Those versions you mentioned just haven’t come to fruition yet. As long as Edge is available to us we can potentially do more versions of him. Shawn as well. It’s possible.

We plan the majority of slots ahead of time and reserve 1 or 2 slots for quick turn figs based on what happens on the current year’s event. We select the quick turn figs the day after the ppv. Those quick turn figs are deco updates to existing sculpts which can be done much quicker than a fig requiring new tooling. For the figs locked in early, Design, Rob and I decide what we think will be the best offering with a mix of retail friendly and collector demanded figs. We then submit to WWE who may leave as is or request changes for a variety of reasons.

Who the hell wants a Shawn Michaels in those $#!+ brown tights he wore at Survivor Series 2002?

Anyway, I'd rather have a molded suit version (like the TRUs Virgil) with shiny paint added to the suit to give it the full effect. I have one real question if youre still answering steve. This would be an awesome figure. Any chance he could be the elite in the main line with the variant/chase? The regular elite could be in the black suit and the chase in the green or white suit?

It’s an iconic moment being the first Elimination Chamber match, his first win of the big gold belt, and his only world title win from his 2nd run 2. It’s a unique look differentiating from the many heart pattern tights we’ve already gotten

Ok. So like if you’re aware that you have better parts, and you’re aware that we’ve been bitching about them for three plus years, could ya do us all a favor and use said parts? Or are we gonna add fuel to the spreadsheets stuff? I don’t think it’s a great burden to ask for you guys to use parts that you’ve already made.
Surfer Sting should have Bulldog’s torso Billy Gunn should have LOD boots Pre 2012 Rock should use the old parts (thanks for fixing this, but it ruined three Rock figures before you did) Basic Macho should have DiBiase boots Ciampa should use Retro Flair legs Aleister Black needs an Undertaker calf piece Jeff Hardy having a tank top on attires that are regular shirts is annoying and you have torsos available to fix this with minimal tooling needed (I think you said you were working on this, if so, thank you)
There’s a ton of parts available at your disposal so I don’t feel entitled when I ask you to use things you’ve already spent money on to create

Yea i should have been more specific. Definetly want to see a plastic molded suit for dibiase. While that cloth suit was a fun idea, i dont think the all cloth attire looks as tight and detailed as it should and it stands out from a collection in a bad way imo.
Thanks for answering my question Steve.

Suited Rick Rude is one of my most wanted figures...It would make a fine BAF if they couldn't slot him into a regular line, although I would like to see at least 2 heads (with moustache and beard).
