It's good, but it needs something. I just can't put my finger on it. Maybe clips from spot shows or something?
And I think it's absolutely disrespectful how nobody can kick out of Colt Cabana's "Superman pin". Get rid of this guy. He's like Santino Marella.

Thoughts after this week:
-I'm really digging Thunder Rosa -Aron Stevens needs to never wear flesh colored trunks again -Colt Cabana is irritating as hell

I love the look of the arena, very retro yet has the ‘HD’ feel.

It is a great wrestling show. They do the old promo and then match routine.

It's too bad about Jim Cornette and what happened with that.
There is so much about this I don't understand...
1. I didn't know what he said was racist until the internet told me so with various rants about it.
2. The TV taping happened like 2 months ago pretty much, the NWA producers couldn't edit what he said out??
3. So the NWA plays it at 6:05 live on their YouTube channel, but then takes it off and edits it and puts it back up hours later without the Cornette comment.
I didn't take what Cornette said as racist. Maybe that's a good thing, or a bad thing, I am not sure. But it seems the world is too over sensitive now.
Was it racist?? No. Was it disrespectful to the poor hungry kids over there in that country?? Yes.

Why NWA couldn't see the uproar coming and remove the statement beforehand, I can't speak for. Maybe they feared Cornette's censorship reaction, but that seems moot now. I've read that Cornette had used that or a similar line in WWE about 25 years ago, doesn't make it right nor does it mean the world is more worse-off now.

If he wanted to wax poetic about how Murdoch can take care of himself, he could have easily said something about wearing a meat suit into a lion's den and coming out with a new fur coat or something just as "homespun and s'utherly". Saying what he said not only plays into a silly racial stereotype, but it's backhandedly poking fun at starving people. Cornette's problem is he is completely and totally stuck in 1979.

That joke would have been funny back in 1985. But whatever. People get so butthurt over everything. I still stand with Cornette.

Take race out of it completely, and ask would it honestly have ever been funny? It's not even a joke I'd have exhaled air out of my nose at a slightly higher velocity than normal for, let alone actually laugh. I love dark humor. I'm all for it. I have no problem with jokes that go over the line...but this wasn't it. I don't know Cornette, so obviously I can't say whether or not the dude is racist, and I really don't think he meant the joke to sound racially insensitive, it was just a crapty attempt at a homespun JRism and it fell flat.

Was it an appropriate comment? No. Was it the best way to put the guy over? No. Was it funny? No.
But I'm also not on board with the idea that any time there is a public misstep, the only possible solution is for someone to get fired, put out some vague public apology, and then pretend like the issue is solved.

I heard the Jim Cornette joke. Its an outdated joke he used in 88 and 95. Ill agree with those that say that its ridiculous that whenever someone f***s up in public, that the solution is to fire them. The joke IMO wasnt offensive, but it was just an unfunny joke.

And now apparently Jim was on thin ice for a while. The comment he made was the last straw. He'll be discussing it on his podcast Friday.
