ending was great. again, I was hoping it wouldn't end in a brawl but I did expect it. It felt like organized chaos though so it was enjoyable.

Omega, Cody, Mox, Jericho, Hager, MJF...that's a pretty damn stacked main event scene. STILL don’t think Hager belongs. Sorry. Give me PAC or Page, hell, find a Hoss that can be a REAL monster. I still don’t like Hagar. |

Another solid episode. I don't want to see a 10-man melee ending every single episode, but it's a good way to expose as many characters as possible early on. And faction vs loose alliance of guys is a good starting point for storylines, since it opens up a ton of match combos and gets a bunch of players involved in a central storyline.
I just hope they don't get sucked into the WWE trap of moving on from feuds like a 5 year old with ADHD. I'd like to see some old school blood feuds that go on 6+ months.

Could make sense if you're looking at a 5pm start time and people are just getting home from work. And while it may cost them viewers, it may ultimately be more profitable. I'm assuming they sell ad spots as a package deal across the 4 hour block of AEW. TNT may make more money if the second showing of AEW draws more viewers/is more profitable than whatever they would otherwise show in that timeslot. |
