I honestly believe if they kicked off 6 months earlier AEW would/could have an amazing womens division. Jordynne Grace wasn't locked up in Impact, NXT UK hadn't locked up Viper, Kay Lee Ray, Jinny, and Killer Kelly to exclusive deals, and you may have had some American indie talent still available. But I don't know how much of the roster issues are circumstance vs choice. There is/was a lot of talent available that they've passed over in favor of a predominantly Japanese division. I see the male roster as being way more in touch with audiences while the womens division seems like Kenny's pet project to bring Joshi wrestling to the states. edit: AEW needs to back up a Brinks truck for Tessa. She has mega star potential and I REALLY don't want to see her end up as just more cannon fodder for Charlotte in WWE.
Pretty sure once her run in IMPACT is done she'll jump to AEW.Remember she worked ALL IN which was basically the foundation of AEW and her dad works their.She's in her early 20's and can work with AEW for a few years and then make the jump to WWE.Even with her possibly being the best women's wrestler going today in WWE you have Charlotte,Becky,Sasha,Bayley & Rosuey all in the mix and would be booked on the same level or above her while in AEW she would be the center piece and face of the division.

Enjoying AEW so far but ive got to ask one thing. What is the deal with Ortiz constantly sticking his tongue out now like a simpleton? Sammy started doing it too but not the whole time the interview went on like Ortiz and it just looks ridiculous.

I think I was ready to call 911 and say someone was having a seizure on tv...or needed a 5150 hold...either way.  |
