The Wrestling episode was fine, but it needed Ryder. The TMNT episode was superior imo. Ryder would of made this unwatchable. I loved this. It’s cool to see a show focused on a hobby that so many of seemingly love

I finally got around to watching this. The editing was annoying as to me-- When they kept cutting to the Jewish Thunder thing and Cody saying "you do not poach". It was fun seeing how far figures have come though. I grew on on BCAs, TTLs and Ruthless Agression figures so selfishly I wanted to see more focus on those.

heeeere we go, here it is, this is the one, this is It!! this is the topic i just knew i couldn't avoid and HAD to slide thru to pepper my opinion across all ya'll
i'l do my absolute BEST to keep this #Short&Sweet so here goes nuthhhh...
...if you even for a split second thought this ep was going to cover the history of rasslin figs the way a WF'er would - then LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL to you, and quite frankly you deserve that. they did a good job on the initial history lesson on the territories and such because despite what you might believe (this part might rock your world), that stuff is not common knowledge to the heavy majority of the living, breathing world. plus all the behind the scenes negotiation stuff of who was involved and who wasn't was pretty informative, and in line with the competition and changes going in the rasslin biz when you think about it. #YouDoNotPoach :-P
Also thought the coverage of the Hasbro relationship ending was informative, also goes to show you where the WWF was in the mid-90's financially. Also let me just make this point - i grew up on BCAs, but they weren't super ground breaking, ESPECIALLY in the early days, and especially in hindsight. so while the account on them was a little attack-ish, i don't think it needed any more time than allotted. we're all a little guilty (myself included) of glorifying stuff from the golden age
so, sure, they glazed over some things historically, but it just goes to show you that what impacts the majority isn't always the shared viewpoint of the super niche fanbase, its worth at least taking that balance and viewpoint into consideration and looking at things from outside the bubble of a world that exists on this site as well as in your heads. they could've done a TON more on the TMNT episode too, but for providing a nice little history lesson on the line and how it tied inot what was happening in wrestling at the time, hey i thought it was pretty solid - what more can you hope to expect or ask for? i'm just happy it happened.
