I like the idea of Sid interfering & Hogan beating Flair by DQ then getting beat down by Flair & Sid....the anti climatic DQ finish would have been offset by the return of the Warrior & the face uniting to drive them away.
Hell since Hogan was away you could have had Savage join the party too...explain Hogans absence through injury from the working over Flair gave his leg and then something Sid done to it too
That way Savage slides seamlessly into the feud with Warrior/Savage vs Flair/Sid
