I'm not really against this change. I always though Buddy Murphy was an awful name. Give him a nickname that might go with Murphy.

One of the times the names change works better...one of the first things I thought of when they gave him the push and put him in a heel group was getting rid of the Buddy name. I mean do you want Superman going against Lex Luthor or Buddy Luthor?? 😉 If anything at least give him a new first name. He's at the Hawkins and Ryder point where he could be given a new full name and it wouldn't matter much. Especially with Seth's 'messiah' role.

I mean, everyone seemed to call him Murphy anyway so I don't think it will be that big of a difference on TV.

Murphy as a name sounds like the least intimidating thing ever.
its either a bad cop show from the 70's or a middle aged female news writer from the 80's
