Without a doubt a smart move. Jericho had a great run but Moxley was losing a lot of steam in my opinion. This will reinvigorate him while also creating a scenario where Jericho could be more of a jerk(heel) - I don’t think this rivalry is close to being from over, and that’s cool

That was a really good show. It wasn’t as good as the last NXT Takeover, but it was still really good. The tag title match was incredible. The title match was terrific, and I really enjoyed PAC-Cassidy.

Cody vs MJF was amazing, Dustin vs Hager was superb, I think Cassidy wouldn’t get so much heat from the old guard if he toned it Down because he actually does have charisma when he does the pockets thing at the right time, glad the tag match was three people I hate so I could skip right over and Jericho vs Moxley was everything wwe wished Jericho vs Ambrose could have been and they didn’t even need thumbtacks or a potted plant. I guess I’m an AEW fan(sort of.)

I really really really enjoyed this show. Every match delivered in their own way, and each of them told a story. The tag team match was great and I loved the dynamic between Matt Jackson slowly being more and more heelish as Nick stopped him. The slight tease of Hangman's turn on Kenny after the match was well done as well. I found it funny how the crowd cheered when Hangman walked away from the Elite, the crowd will never boo this bad-ass beer drinking cowboy and I am perfectly okay with that.
Another big highlight from the night was that Moxley/Jericho match. So much fun with a mix of intensity, good work by both guys and funny moments by Jericho. It was just the full wrestling package. A must see from this show.
Two matches that really stuck out to me the most as two of my favorites were MJF/Cody and PAC/Cassidy. Both of these matches were great. My girlfriend doesn't watch AEW or wrestling a lot unless I am. But she really got into these 2 matches(the Orange Cassidy one the most) and is now a huge Orange Cassidy fan. I have to say, I went into the Orange Cassidy match thinking that it was going to be the cool-down match but it was the complete opposite and a great surprise to watch.
Overall, once again this show was really good and I am super stoked to see what they do on Wednesday leading to "Blood and Guts". I wonder who will be in their War Games?

I really enjoyed the AEW PPV tonight.
But Cody's neck tattoo is horrible! The tattoo would be more suited on his arm or chest, but the side of his neck?? Just doesn't look right on him for some reason.

Great show, love seeing Mox as champ. But as someone with 72 tattoos, Cody... What in the actual  is that? Genuinely one of the worst tattoo's I have ever seen. Who gets a colorful tattoo on their neck that reaches up to their cheek? It looks like a sticker, or something a child gets in a gum packet. And the shoddy work on the lines is just embarassing. |

I am really impressed with how Jake Hager has improved. I couldn't stand him in the WWE, but he's so much more polished now. I'm hoping he gets some sort of mid-card title in the future.
