When season changes my Asthma gets worse so for me coughing here and there, especially when I take my inhaler will happen. It has nothing to do with any virus or anything like that. So the other day I was in Barnes & Noble with the wife just browsing around and I coughed... just one or 2 coughs which I did cover with a napkin from my coat pocket and some lady commented loud enough for me to hear "he has some nerve to cough here with the virus going around, he's probably spreading it". Something along those lines, I cannot remember word for word though. But yeah it's has happened again and will for probably a couple of weeks more. lol

I support the closing of large group events; the crazy thing is, if the virus doesn't spread crazily, people are going to say, "Look! We shut all that stuff down for nothing!" And yet, it was shutting those events down that indeed allowed the virus not to spread like wildfire.

Shut every damn thing down for two weeks and let the virus die and then get back on with life. What are we up to now? NBA and NHL seasons suspended March Madness cancelled XFL cancelled SXSW cancelled E3 cancelled ECCC, Wondercon, and Monster Mania postponed Mulan and New Mutants (and probably other movies) postponed Disneyworld closed temporarily Just go whole hog and then it'll be over instead of this hemming and hawing and making it linger. If given the choice, people are almost always going to take the choice that doesn't involve them giving anything up, so take away the option.

I find it stupid that people panic & are buying lots of toilet paper, paper towels, gallons of water, & canned goods. Meanwhile I need toilet paper & I have to go to 3 different stores to pick some up. SMH.

If you're going to need 144 rolls of toilet paper for a 14 day quarantine, you need to see the doctor for reasons other than COVID-19.

My mum was in the supermarket today and she said there wasn't a roll of toilet paper in sight. Hand sanitiser and paracetamol were all gone too. It didn't become real to me until today when I heard about the travel ban between the US and EU, the increased number of deaths in Italy, Tom Hanks getting it and the whole NBA deal. I'm due to fly back to Liverpool on Saturday and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little concerned about it. My uni is still open for now but that could change in the near future. Hopefully they don't postpone my finals or anything, the sooner I can graduate, the better haha.

Government created desease. It's a way of getting everyone vaccinated and who knows what's in those vaccines. Also talking about not using money anymore, cashless digital society. Some folks in Switzerland and in the U.S have micro chips in their hand that has all their bank details on it and that's how they pay for things. Some call it mark of the beast and system of the beast from Revelation. Them black helicopters be wildin these days huh

I personally feel canceling everything is an overreaction yet a justified one, mainly because there’s so much still unknown. This could blow over in a month or the US could end up like Italy. Nobody knows what will happen. Just live your life day by day while being smart and safe.

I'm prepping for the worst.
I'm not scared of the virus at all. I believe if it's my time to go, I'm gone. What I'm worried about is Karen and Susan buying all the water and hygiene products out of fear.
So I'm slowly trying to get a 30 day supply of essentials, just in case. Doubtful itll be necessary.

I stocked up on around two weeks of groceries. School is closed in Michigan until April 5th, so I will be “home schooling” my son while spending most of my time at home. We both have asthma and while I don’t know if that makes us more vulnerable, I’m not taking any chances. If I didn’t have asthma, I wouldn’t be as concerned.

I just left Wal-Mart. Every register had a sign saying "Limit 2 per family for the following items: water, paper towels, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, Lysol & tissues."
I bet there will lot a lot of Karens trying to get more.

I'm personally more annoyed than anything else. I'm not staying home, but I'm concerned enough to wash my hands more and carry hand sanitizer with me. I'm basically approaching this as I do flu season, only with more of a chip on my shoulder because we can't find tp or paper towels.
I think that this is a real illness that needs to be treated with caution, but the media is inducing panic. Canceling everything, while probably not the worst idea, is fueling panic. It is impossible not to panic if you watch the news. They literally say 'this is going to get much worse, the shockwaves will be felt for months and years to come, and there WILL be many more deaths, stay home, don't go anywhere, but don't panic'. F#ck you, you're trying to turn this into a police state. If we go on Italy lockdown that's exactly what this will be. I genuinely worry about the elderly and compromised among us, but I feel like those of us without close family or friends who fall into these categories should be exposed so that our immune systems can have a chance to build up a tolerance, and not be defenseless when this comes around again.
Don't be stupid, don't be a "hero" and go out if you're sick, don't lick doorknobs, wash your goddamn hands and f#cking cover your goddamn mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze for the first time in your misspent life, don't go near the infirm if you think there's even a chance you've been exposed, but don't barricade yourself in your home until the sky stops falling, chicken little. They've taken away most of our entertainment already, don't leave yourself with nothing.
