Hey guys,
I wanted to ask a simple question yesterday I went into my target store and the guy working the electronic section I gave him the dpci for the wwe elites and he said they don’t have any on the way or none in the back until they sell out of the ones they have but I go into another target and they have E74 and E75 (in the back) is this the case for all targets that they have to sell through the ones they already have first or? If anyone can explain I’ll appreciate it

I can explain. There is a worldwide pandemic right now requiring people to stay home except for groceries or hospital visits. Action figures are very low on stores priority right now, with factories shut down in China, and stores trying to stock more essential supplies. Some stores happened to get 74/75 before this all hit the fan. Don’t expect stores to be stocking up anytime soon, and 76+ won’t hit for months. Fall would be optimistic.
Sorry if this seems harsh, maybe you’re a younger kid or something. But for any adults, now just isn’t the time to be figure hunting. As bad as I want to go find E75 and buy the set, it’s not worth taking a chance getting/spreading this virus.
Edit: also yes, some stores wait to restock till numbers get low. Not sure if it’s per store or region though.

You think every store has extra stock in the back? No lol.
Generally a store will not get more stock unless the inventory gets down to 3, in which case more figures should be automatically ordered. However employees should also be able to order more stock if they so desired regardless of the stock count.

Retail stores are starting to adopt this weird policy/idea that they don’t want excess stock in the back. I thought it was just my grocery store being weird but it turns out this is a thing Walmart and Target want too

My Wally World had one last toy stock hurrah this past week. I picked up the WM29 Bryan/Kane set for $15.

I have heard that before which doesn’t seem like a good idea when they should always want to have a variety of product available at all time. Mattel doesn’t help either when they tend to pack more of the weakest selling figures in the series in each case.

Stores need to focus on stocking essentials like now like food and toilet paper.

Stores need to focus on stocking essentials like now like food and toilet paper. Emphasis on the TP. Also, add hygienic supplies to that list like disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer. And please, I am begging every store on planet earth right now, put rationing in place. The human race, as a community, has proven that we can't be trusted with this stuff. Store owners, take note of the ten people in line for the checkout who have all 200 packs of toilet paper. Now, stop letting them do it. I know that most places have implemented rationing, but really it needs to be universal at this point for essentials. You get one pack of TP, one bottle of hand sanitizer, one tube of wipes, and one jug of water. That's all you get for that day.

Man you have no idea how bad it is in the grocery store....I could tell you stories for days. People in general are awful. You always hear people say people are genuinely good it’s just a few bad apples that spoil the bunch.....while I am here to tell you that most people are awful and it’s a small few that are actually nice. It’s actually made me very depressed the last week or so to see how people are acting day in and day out.

I’ll say this. It’s not up to anyone on this or any thread to lecture anyone on what questions they ask. A simple question as to what a store’s stocking protocols are shouldn’t trigger anyone or garner a response as to telling people what’s important in life. Take precautions be smart and be safe but don’t be scared to live your life. Stores are still getting all types of merchandise that range from food, drink, hygiene and yes even toys. There’s something called a distribution center that happens to fulfill orders for stores when the stores they serve run low on a product. I’ve seen inventory numbers increase and decrease over the last week so don’t think the only deliveries to stores only consist of purell, hot pockets and charmin. Live your life to the fullest but remain safe. I won’t be responding to anyone if you have a rebuttal because this is an opinion not a debate.

See it’s not an opinion...right now you should not be living your life. Living your life right now could get you or someone else killed. It is a fact! No debate! Look at the numbers in other countries. It’s a fact. If you are not out working, getting food or medicine you should be home taking a break from everyone else so we can all live our lives again. It’s not an opinion it’s fact. There is no stopping this by going out and living life.

That said, I was at Walmart on Saturday, and the only section of the store where it was even physically possible for me to practice "Social Distancing" was the toy department. I found the irony of that a bit depressing, and darkly amusing.

Everyone needs to stop acting like this just naturally occurred. People die every day. They do. And they always will. And if anyone here is religious they know when it's time to go, you go. Even a good part of the non religious community knows you cant dodge death. So everyone be scared and stay home alone all day and die choking on a dorito. That's a way better way to go.

As a religious person myself, I highly recommend you look up the joke/story of the Christian on the flooded rooftop. When it's your time, it's your time. But, funny thing, the person who leaves their 7th story apartment via the elevator, and the person who leaves it via the window are going to have wildly different life expectancies.

I don't like to get preachy but the fact people still think hunting toys is essential when governments are literally shutting down cities and states is mind boggling.

Fig hunting is about to die for a bit.

There should be a lot of Elites still out there since most of the stores didn’t get any for a while. Hopefully the stores will continue to get figures and get them more frequently. So with less people going to the stores we can get what we need easier.

People quit hunting toys.
Yall should see my tp collection. 16 different brands, 8 different package sizes, 4 limited edition packaging variants.
Got pissed yesterday. Found an elusive charmin 16 pack. Somebody had done a swap with the single ply crap. Whatever. Good conversation piece for my new tp room.
