Holy crap dude you really gotta chill on all this doom and gloom, it's not helping anything and it's literally derailing every single thread you can find. You've gone from the 200'000 in two weeks that you totally misquoted (Fauci never said in two weeks time, he said total) to 1M deaths now. Spanish Flu was significantly worse and things went back to normal, life will go on, business will re-open (well, most, lots of small ones will be crippled but new ones will take their place) sports will resume, etc, etc. I get that you're stressed and worried about this, but as someone literally with a diagnosed anxiety disorder, I can be the one to say, reeelaaaaaxxxxx. Welcome to how we operate 24/7, we're just a little more experienced at shutting those irrational voices out. Vaccine's are being tested, solutions will be found, and life will go on. Will everything be identical? No probably not, but not in a bad way. People might be a little more conscious about washing their hands after using the restrooms, etc. Food safety might go up a notch, y'know, the stuff we were supposed to be doing anyways but weren't. I’m very middle ground on this actually. I think NBA, NHL, and MLB should be playing without crowds. Yes, it was said 100K to 240K Americans in two weeks. I can link the article if you would like me to. We don’t know how this turns out. I’m simply gathering info. It may get me or you and it may not. But sure, my children will see the end of this. It ends with us defeating COVID-19 but to pretend we know what or how happens in between is foolish. Business will re-open... yeah a year from now when there’s a vaccine. I have friends on the front lines in NY. I have the right scope of this disease currently Actually please do link it if you could, I tried very hard to find one actually saying in two weeks and couldn't.

You don’t google very well Mitch! www.cnbc.com/amp/2020/03/31/trump-says-the-coronavirus-surge-is-coming-its-going-to-be-a-very-very-painful-two-weeks.html"This could be a hell of a bad two weeks. This is going to be a very bad two, and maybe three weeks. This is going to be three weeks like we've never seen before," Trump said at a White House press conference Tuesday. White House officials are projecting between 100,000 and 240,000 deaths in the U.S. with coronavirus fatalities peaking over the next two weeks. "When you look at night, the kind of death that has been caused by this invisible enemy, it's incredible."

That didn't say that 240k die in those two weeks, it says 240k total with deaths peaking in the next two to three weeks, as in the highest death rate will be in the next few weeks, not it will hit 240k in three weeks. The graph would indicate between 50k and 120k total deaths after the next three weeks.

Depending how things shake out, they could always come up to Canada late summer and host some shows here, depending on travel restrictions. Our health care is much better and our population smaller good chance we're ready for crowds before America.

Absolutely it is, just pointing it out since you had to take what came across as a sarcastic shot at my ability to find the article, when it seemed that you were actually misquoting the articles I had found. More population dense US cities are for sure going to get hit the hardest, which is I think the biggest barrier to things like DoN 2 firing. (Yeah, I think it's insanely unlikely DoN 2 happens as it currently stands). A big portion of your country stands to recover before places like New York do, just like a big portion of my country stands to recover before our bigger centers like Toronto and Vancouver do. Waiting on those bigger centers to return to relative normal prevents the interstate travel, which prevents things like DoN2, at least with an audience of any size. I still think June/July is a pretty reasonable timeline to start having audiences etc, again. Won't guarantee that another outbreak can't happen, but a fair amount of the models suggest that could be about the time things start to relax, just under the impression that they could have to close again very shortly. This might be a huge benefit for AEW only doing 4 major shows, compared to WWE where they'll really just have to scrap a bunch, AEW can just kind of squish them a bit for this year. Obviously if 2020 ends up being a total write off then they'd just cancel as well, but if the June/July scenario pans out they could still comfortably do 3 big shows.

Well, at any rate, the MGM has suspended things until May 31st, so it definitely won't be happening there on time. Not that this is really a surprise or anything, but it's official now.

I think they're still going to run in, just maybe not as a PPV. I could see them doing it as a Saturday night TNT special from an undisclosed location with no fans.
I've got a funny feeling about DoN...

Well, let's see what happens if a national edict is issued demanding the country be opened with common sense refusals being subject to reprimand.

I've got a funny feeling about DoN... I could definitely see it running out of QT's school (Where they filmed all the Dynamite stuff recently). God would it be great to have a crowd though.

I miss live wrestling crowds too, but the end of May is still too soon to do that. AEW has done a remarkable job with using talent in the crowd. It'd be cool for everyone on the roster and crew not competing that night to still travel in and at least be in the crowd. I think that'd be a really special, unifying moment.

AEW has confirmed plans to hold and broadcast Double or Nothing on the scheduled 5/23 date outside of MGM Grand. Venue to be announced.

I'm guessing they'll film at qt again, but depending on the regulations in California at the time, redecorating the bte compound could also turn out really effing cool. I don't follow the state's situation from state to state very close being Canadian and all, so I have no idea what's possible in each state, I'm just basing that off bte filming

It just won't have the DON feel, much like WM didn't have theirs this year!

I think it's a huge mistake to charge people $60 for a PPV when a lot of people are financially struggling and it won't be as good in front of no crowd.
For $60 I better get Blood and Guts, a legit Moxley defense, and Shida winning the women's title.

Yeah I knew they were moving ahead, but I wasn't sure if maybe something to order had shown up in the states already but not in Canada yet. We're always a bit late to the party here haha.
