I mean, why not make it for the title? Havoc wouldn't win either way. lol I love that idea, though! I figured there'd be less of an outrage if it was non-title, given Havoc's record...lol. But then again, let Luther and Havoc do it if you want...I just want a deathmatch please. There's a month to build up Havoc. They could do it if they wanted.

The freak out of Coronavirus is worse than the actual virus. I mean H1N1 was far more deadly and honestly, I vaguely remember it. Yes there is no vaccine, yes there are mixed treatments. But I think those most susceptible to it should be sheltering in place and the rest should be practicing social distance and continuing on. The vast majority of people won’t get this or won’t have symptoms, you are gonna create a far worse reaction when people start rebelling against over reach.
A lot of the shut downs and such are because we are in an election year, with no viable candidate for the party out of the White House, and this is the last gasp. Also, as my own governor admitted to the state house who was ready to repeal his emergency order, if we open back up we lose federal money. Again it’s about the money, not safety.

It was a reaction to some who were like “How can we possibly have a crowd?” It’s more of a chill out, we could have crowds if certain flames weren’t being stoked.

You're entitled to your opinion, but that literally had nothing to do with Double or Nothing...or AEW...or wrestling... Just a way for them to hide behind a flimsy pretext to insert the counter-narrative, in the absence of an actual topical thread now. On topic, I wonder if they will bring Blood and Guts to DoN with Florida now saying 25% capacity crowds are permissible.

What if wrestling arenas start looking like hockey rinks with shields blocking fans from the wrestlers

They need to do Blood & Guys as soon as they can before stuff gets shut down again. The 2nd wave of the virus is going to be rough.

I don’t see Blood & Guts happening at the PPV. Cody would have to be taken out of the match for one, and I don’t see him not being in Blood & Guts. I don’t think Matt Hardy will be in it either. I see it being full ELITE vs. Inner Circle since the Nick Jackson angle is basically done with.

B&G can't happen at the PPV, but they can tape it during the possible 3 week window coming up before Double or Nothing. Since Cody is facing Archer and Jericho is probably facing Matt, it would be cool to have Hangman vs Hager and The Elite vs Santana, Ortiz, Sammy at the PPV.

Does anyone know for sure if The Revival are free to be at Double or Nothing? Were they given a full release or do they have 90 days like everyone else?

Their statement said immediate release, compared to every other one saying release, and everything I've seen on dirt sheets say there is no non compete.

If that’s the case maybe they pull the trigger on revival vs the bucks at double or nothing.

All indications were that their release was immediate. From what I've gathered the 90 day non-compete clause is solely paid leave. If you work elsewhere, you don't get paid those 90 days.

I would MUCH rather them not face the Bucks immediately. Give it a build. A debut or attack against the Bucks at DoN to begin things is much more preferable to me. Then it can be built to All Out.

The only problem with that is that it'd be too similar to what Santana & Ortiz did at All Out. It'd be cool if they squared up with Hangman & Omega (if they're still champs) post-match and they pointed at the belts. Best Friends or SCU would also be a cool 1st opponent for them.

AEW Rankings are out for this week and it's looking really weird to determine who will face Moxley at Double or Nothing.
1) Cody (can't challenge for the title and is already in a match against Archer) 2) Archer (see Cody) 3) Omega (I guess he could be the guy, but he'll likely be defending the Tag Title at DoN and 2 matches aren't likely) 4) Brodie Lee (it seems too soon for him to get a shot at the title and lose) 5) Darby (him challenging in the main event would need a bigger & better build)
