The big blue cage had way more personality. My favourite matches are Rick Rude vs Ultimate Warrior and Bret Hart vs Owen Hart. Now that I think about it warrior vs rude was the first cage match I ever saw. I saw edge vs Christian at Rebellion 2001 live with the black cage and it was awesome As a kid I watched the best of Saturday night's main event via with Hogan vs boss man a million times! |

My two favorite blue steel cage matches of all time are: Bret vs Owen SSlam 94 I love the suplex off the top of the cage! This was the first time I ever saw anything like this. Such an amazing spot.  HHH vs Mankind SSlam 97 This was the first match that made me have respect for Triple H. Looking back he was always a good wrestler but that blue blood character was so bad that it made me overlook his talent. I love the finish where Mankind has the match won but climbs back up for that one last elbow drop. Also Mankind takes on of the worst head shots I’ve ever seen. I cringe every time I see it.  On a side note, I’ve never seen Hogan vs Bossman. I’m going to have to go watch that now. |

I always remember Bret Hart vs Sid for the Title a week prior to Mania 13 because I was there, Austin and Taker kept interfering to help their Mania opponents, Bret Hart shoving Vince down, dropping bullcrapon tv and because it waa highly entertaining.
