I wonder where he's gonna go and let down his family name elsewhere? That's just nasty! He wasn't exactly given the best shot.

I really liked him, but after the run with Paul Heyman, it just didn't seem like he would go anywhere. Great in the ring, IMO, but not got the character/personality to really get over. They obviously thought he'd be something big sticking him with Paul Heyman, but it bombed. I think he's a really talented wrestler though, I hope he does succeed in wherever he goes because he's got the in ring ability for it.

A lot of guys never really recovered after getting paired with Paul Heyman in WWE: Ryback, Curtis Axel, and Cesaro. Heyman didn't elevate or rub off any of them.

A lot of that is just unfortunate timing... - Cesaro: Paired with Heyman the night after Brock broke the streak. It was never going to work. - Curtis Axel: Paired just as Brock and Punk were entering their feud. He sat in the background for about 2 months, by then he lost his steam. - Rybotch: Talentless trash couldn't be elevated by anyone.

Everybody can't stay in WWE forever.
Keeping the same jobber wrestlers forever, makes WWE a stale show.

Someone has to take the losses in wrestling and I am sure he was paid well to do so. Not everyone is the top performer. He had some ups and downs.

I think tag team and IC division is where it ends for him.

It’s a funny thing with Heyman as a manager - he’s only really good at enhancing guys who are already really good anyway. Put him with Punk and Brock and it’s great work. Put him with scrubs like those three and it falls flat.

Keeping the same main event guys keeps the WWE stale. I agree with that. Oh it's TRUE, its Damn true too Compare the 2015 main event guys to today. It's almost exactly the same. Lesnar Reigns Rollins Owens Bryan Wyatt Orton Sheamus Balor Obviously, there has been SOME turnover in main event guys like McIntyre and Strowman, Ambrose leaving and AJ coming in but its generally the same few guys main eventing every show. Compare that to 1995 to 2000. Or 2000 to 2005. Or 1990 to 1995. The main event turnover back then was huge. Maybe 1 or 2 guys were main eventing shows in multiple eras, for lack of a better word but for the most part, the entire main event scene was different every few years. IMO, this is why the product feels so stale most of the time. You can only watch Rollins take on Owens, or Lesnar wrestle the same match before you tune out and watch something else.

I wish WWE sees this statement and can make changes, because it's dead on.

Not a huge Ryback guy or anything, but the guy was clearly charismatic and got over at one point.
