I think an open invitational/frequent title defense angle for the TNT title is a bad idea. I think the invantional angle for title defenses is more meaningful when the belt has more of a history/merit. It’s a tv title. It literally has TNT on it. I think it could actually be a ratings mover to have a guaranteed Cody title match on the card. I’ll have to wait and see |

I think the invantional angle for title defenses is more meaningful when the belt has more of a history/merit. remember when cena got the US title and it meant nothing and he did an invitational, and it was one of the first things almost everyone enjoyed that cena had done in years, and then kevin owens had a fantastic debut winning it and it mattered? that's what cody is about to ideally do for the tnt title, or at least that's the thinking behind it. |

but do u agree bro?!?!?!?!?! Can’t say I do. Maybe it was the sloppy finish but the match wasn’t what I was expecting. The angle was really good, would have liked it if Archer was built up stronger and won the match. |

The angle was really good, would have liked it if Archer was built up stronger and won the match. ending wasn't ideal, mike tyson having any role was more silly than anything (felt like an impact wrestling move, yikes), and i actually was rooting for archer but knew cody needed the w after his two major losses so far to mjf and jericho. all that said, to be excited for a feud that had been built well and good grit was a nice change from what wrestling has been giving us as of the last while. |
