No other voice actor who voiced Batman will ever live up to Kevin Conroy He still does the voice for batman in video games and DC animated movies. His longevity will never be matched.

For live action I'd probably go with Keaton, but I'm in the camp, that just portrayal of Batman in all media, my Batman is Conroy. Same with Mark Hamill will always be my Joker. If I read a Batman comic, it's their voices I hear in my head, when I'm reading either character. Part of it is both just nail the characters so well, and part of it is I grew up with the Animated Series. A big reason why I think I'm a big Harley Quinn fan too. Wait. What? I'm a Supernatural fan, but I don't get it. I know many people have said he'd be a good Batman too, and I guess he dressed up as Batman last Halloween. Hell he's already got his foot in the DC door, voicing Red Hood in the animated Under the Red Hood movie.

I love how when he answered the joker's question, he left no stone unturned in conveying that he was confused.

This might be my favorite scene from the film only because for a split second when he says "Come on!" we hear Betelgeuse. It's short but it's the same way he says "Come on where'd you go?" from Beetlejuice. For me it's between Keaton and Bale. I lived through Batman in 89, the movie was huge. You couldn't go anywhere without seeing the Batman logo. My problem with Clooney is that it's pretty much just Clooney with and without a mask. He still somehow manages to do the signature Clooney Bobble Head acting in the batsuit. I still like all those movies for various reasons. I'm always down to watch a Batman movie. Can't say the same about other comic book characters. I think it's why I never saw Affleck, he never got a solo movie.

As far as live action Batmans, not Bruce Waynes, Affleck was the best imo. Keaton gets a lot of love due to nostalgia, Kilmer and Clooney are looked at as jokes, West was good for what that Batman needed to be, and Bale was the carried by the villains and the franchise itself.

Kevin Conroy was the best overall. Not only is his voice what I imagine when I think of Batman, but there’s great nuance in his performance too. I remember him speaking at a panel and saying that he thought to do the voices of Batman and Bruce Wayne a bit different. Then the additional layer was that he decided to go with Bruce having the “fake” voice.
For live action it’s a tough call between Bale and Keaton. Keaton was better as a brooding Batman/Bruce. Bale was better with the action. Clooney was the most believable as a billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne.
Affleck could have been the best but the writing failed him as did not getting a solo movie.

The kid in me will always say Adam West as he is who I grew up watching every afternoon.
But Kevin Conroy - His voice on BtAS is what I hear in my head when I think Batman.
But as far as the rest of the live action portrayals go for me it’s...
Affleck - I felt he had the physique and I felt his portrayal of the character’s attitude in BvS was pretty much perfect for Kane’s original Batman. And it was the best “modern real world” bat-suit.
Bale - I felt he did an excellent job and had the the physique I picture Batman having. I could believe he was 6’2” 210-220lbs. although much of it was he had the best scripts of all the movies. Begin’s costume was the second best “modern real world” bat-suit.
Keaton - Back in the day I never cared for him as Batman. To me he was fit to play Mr Mom not Batman. But over the years I‘ve grown to appreciate his portrayal in the original, but I didn’t really care for Returns. Although I still don’t think he had the look or physique to be Batman.
Clooney - if he had a script as good as Batman, Nolan’s TDK/DKR or BVS I feel he would have done a great job as the older and more grizzled Batman.
Kilmer - I felt physically he was a much better choice than Keaton, but I felt his style of acting was a little off for the role. He did have my third favorite Batman suit though after Affleck’s and Bale’s Begins costume.
Lewis Wilson - I think that was fun serial for its time.

It's a tie between Keaton and Conroy. Keaton's acting was top notch at the time and Conroy's voice is what I hear when I see Batman. Keaton also just has an iconic look along with having a really good Joker to play off in his film.
If I could create the perfect Batman though, he would have the physique of Affleck with the voice of Conroy.
EDIT: Now that I look at it, we haven't really had a terrible Batman. They were each really good in their own ways.

BTW I voted for George Clooney cause I felt bad for him. That’s not his fault. I feel if he had a good script like Batman, Nolan’s TDK/DKR or BVS he could have done a great job as the older grizzled Batman. But a script with Bat-nipples, bat-credit cards, Mr Freeze campy one liners and a Bane who can only say “bomb” he had no chance of succeeding.

Whoa...10 years ago on this forum if you said anyone else but Bale or DARED say a bad word about Nolan's movies you would have been LYNCHED....LOL.
From whos listed...Its still Keaton for me. Kilmer would have been great in the darker Schumacher BF but we seen what happened there. Clooney...whoooo.
Bale for me was great in the role but the fight scenes let him down big time. His Batman was too light because of the stripped down portryal in Nolan's movies.
LOVED Afflecks bruiser in BvS but good God his portrayal in Justice League was awful.
Conroy is my fave all the way...& Mask of the Phantasm is my favourite Batman movie.

I will say, The Dark Knight is the Batman movie I go back to the most but the last act is hot garbage. Ledger completely owns that movie, without him I think no one really talks about that trilogy.
