Darby is too little to work a program with Cage. Things like that annoy me about much of wrestling, a jacked up monster dude shouldn’t be selling to some mini wrestler and having a competitive program. Have you never seen a giant get knocked out by a small guy? Happens plenty in real life Yeah but when both are top athletes/wrestlers it doesn’t make sense. It can happen but there has to be a great story and plenty of shenanigans. |

Things like that annoy me about much of wrestling, a jacked up monster dude shouldn’t be selling to some mini wrestler and having a competitive program. this is something that's frequently cited as an issue. some promotions adhere to those types of size differences being the make or break, others look at it more like a comic book - spider man fighting the hulk. either way, i understand your opinion and on some levels agree. that said, i'm willing to guess you are a bit older? because it doesn't seem to be as much an issue with younger (21 and under) viewers. 32 here my man. A lot of the modern wrestling sometimes gets too far fetched. |

Darby is the perfect opponent to feed to Cage after he loses the title match next week. To be fair, I’ve been saying that since the ladder match at Double or Nothing.

But it can happen and be productive for both parties. What it shouldn’t be is trading wins and going back and forth. Then it’s not believable. |

They are just burying Archer against two people who will be curtain jerkers forever. Whatever they are paying Jelly it’s way too much. It filled time, I’d take about 5 minutes off of that match, but it didn’t kill me. Like it or not, Kiss and Janela are main roster and shouldn’t be squashed. Lance Archer is more important to the company as a massive heel than Joey Janela is in any capacity. I don't think a match like that makes Janela look like he's capable of hanging in there with a monster like Archer as much as it makes it look like Archer is struggling against a a guy like Joey. Janela should only have gotten a little bit of offence, but Archer shouldn't be leaving his feet for him. And Archer CERTAINLY shouldn't need Jake's "help" in a match like that. |

Cornette spells this stuff out so well, say what you want about his social commentary but when he gets talking booking and ring psychology, it’s the best in the industry. You need Archer to be a dominant heel to plug in against various top babyface a especially during a Babyface title run. He has to be kept ridiculously strong. Jelly will never be anything of consequence to the company, he’s a filler. |
