If they eventually get the heads right I’ll be fine with swapping them off for better scans. As long as the gear is right I guess it’s fine but still disappointing

I’ll admit the protos looked better on some of these, while others look better than the protos, but some of the criticism is pretty petty. For first time figures they’re fine. My biggest critique is Kenny Omegas hair being black, I hope it’s the lighting |

While I do plan on eventually getting a Jericho, MJF, Adam Page, Omega, and Cody Rhodes, these torsos still look as awful as Mattel’s UE line.

They look great. Even better than I expected. Some ppl are hating on the face prints, especially Cody, but they look dead on to me. The last few years Cody has had darkness under his eyes and eye bags.  I’m buying them all. I know. People can hate on these all they want. I'm so in. Cody's next figure needs to have that big *ss scar he got in the Full Gear match. lol Yeah people are complaining about the dark circles, but it’s not Jeremy Padawer’s fault that Cody looks like a blonde Pete Davidson. |

Classic Jakks trick was to just not put details on the parts of the figure that you didn’t see until you got it home and opened it. |

Never trust the prototype pictures “This is basically a Jakks line.” Couldn’t be further from the truth. Jakks never gave us this kind of combination of deco, articulation, and accurate accessories in their regular lines. This is literally the FIRST WAVE of a brand new line for a company that doesn’t do anything else like these figures. It’s also Padawer’s first time with someone who can afford to push the limits on a retail line instead of trying to cut corners left and right. I don’t think the issue with the scans is a lack of attention to detail, but it’s more of a first time issue of trying so hard to be right that you mess it up. The figures are still great and are only going to get better with time. It took Mattel awhile to really nail headscans. |

I preordered the first series, plus Bubbly Jericho, and I'm excited about the line. That said, this doesn't make me feel great about getting an Omega that I'm immediately going to have to replace to get the correct version. Were there not samples and safeguards?
Also, if they knew the new proto photos weren't great, why release them?
