The pics Jeremy posted of Jericho and Cody look SO much better, so I stand corrected. I hope it’s the same for The Bucks, as I think Kenny’s scan is already fine. Whoever shot the first pics posted on Ringside did not do them justice at all, again assuming the shots Jeremy posted are legit which I’m inclined to believe.

With that in mind I’m feeling more optimistic again. I was disappointed before but some of the reactions today were so silly.

While I’m not a big fan of the torsos I think the attires and their deco look incredible, as well as all of the accessories. Can’t wait to get these, and I’m equally or more excited for Series 2.

There's just a certain quality to the plastic that comes across in the photos. Not even an overly cheap shitty plastic, it just looks cheaper compared to the prototypes, or indeed yes, Mattels.

The faces? Yes, they look like bootlegs/knock offs of the figures originally shown.

No matter your stance on these figures - whether or not you pre ordered, if you still like the look of them, didn't like the prototypes, etc - nobody can deny there is a significant downgrade when comparing what was originally shown to what they intend to sell.

If I remember correctly it was the same with Mattel. I remember the figures they originally showcased being of a higher quality than what released in those first waves. However, not to this extent. I will also state that I am not biased. I never planned on buying these, and I sold off my Mattel figures years back.

I do want the AEW line to succeed, and I think they will, but the bait and switch here is staggering.

First I stand by what I said before and that is I wish this line was rolled out with a larger parts library. Mattel had at least 4 or 5 different sets of arms when they released wave 1. There’s no reason why Jazwares couldn’t have had a few different sets of arms. Just with multiple arm choices the figures could have shared the same torso yet look to be different sized and have different builds. That’s my one complaint.

Now I just wish they would put the next wave up so I can preorder Hangman already.



Just because it’s a running change doesn’t mean they all won’t be correct once RSC gets them. For all we know this could have been a test sample the sent before going into mass production and Jeremy could have seen this sample he had it changed before the figures went into production.

Lots of negativity in the posts here, but I remain excited overall. Cool to see Bubbly Jericho comes with the Bubbly T-shirt too! Eager to see how much Kenny with updated hair improves the figure's look.

I just wish they hand closed fists on some i dont recall people punching with a open hand like omegas give a closed fist to some.

Also why does mattel and jakks keep not painting the glove proper there is always this weird flesh spot like on ever roman and now rhodes
