30 more ruddy days for Big daddy, crikey 8 months plus at this point.. Better be worth the wait. Both the brown and blue Haystacks being sent out? or just the brown one?. I don't even think I want them at this point. Bought Daddy, Haystacks and both Dynamites about 6 years ago and have pretty much lost interest since. I'll be collecting my pension when they arrive. Just the Wembley variant as far as I know, the brown one.

I know that the delays associated with each of the companies is not their fault directly, and so I try not to let it get to me - but it is definitely taking a bit of the fun out of collecting these.
I hope that Chella are able to find a rhythm with their manufacturer so that we can get a semi-regular turnover of arriving figures.
I wish them all the best, with the hope the by product is people are happier and less nit-picky. (For the record this is in no way intended as a dig at anyone)

Brown Haystacks was supposed to be getting sent out around the 11th of July, so surely somebody, somewhere has gotten one.
Replacement Adam Bombs' being sent out as well.

(For the record this is in no way intended as a dig at anyone) It's just difficult to get excited about new announcements when you know that you likely won't be seeing the actual figure for nearly an entire year. The Dynamite variant is a head-scratcher, as besides the head, it's pretty much a straight repaint, so I don't know why it's taken so long. Blue Hayabusa was pretty much done and dusted in no time. I'm also wondering what happened with the British legends line, will it be happening this year? No news since Street was announced.

what confuses me here is the delay is so weird - announce a whole raft of figures, show the designs, but then don't even have plans to manufacture and release them for a whole year or so?
why are we seeing Luna designs, if we've not even seen the prototypes yet? and what Quality Control is going into their final release following sign-off from prototypes to make sure we don't have another Ethan Page debacle?
I want to support Chella, I really do, I'm excited for the British Legends line, I'm excited for their plans of more NJPW figures (another 3rd party exclusive line I believe?) but their PR seems to be competing in the 100m sprint against Usain Bolt whilst their manufacturing seems to be struggling to enter a local park run

It seems to resemble a pyramid scheme to be honest. How many figs in pre order now? 15?

yeah I wouldn't say it's a pyramid scheme, as you actually receive something (although in the Ethan case, it's not what anyone expected to receive!) but hopefully over the coming months, we'll be receiving figures like Haystacks, Daddy, Snow and maybe more?

Speaking of the pyramid... surely available for preorder soon. A positive note: I received my 3 new Adam Bomb figures. All in good condition with nothing to complain. Bubbles glued tightly to the card, no paint issues.

Exactly. I'm assuming that the next series is Andre, DDP, Guerrero, Warhorse and Onita. There's also Barbarian and the Road Warriors, but where will Daveyboy fit in with potentially 3 figures? Adrian Street is supposedly in the British legends line, will that be separate from the regular releases? There's not a lot of clarification. I'm genuinely looking forward to the 3 Bulldogs, so I hope that they're given a good run and not an extremely limited FC release like blue Hayabusa. I also really am in support of Chella, and all of these independant companies, tbh, but the lack of solid clarification is frustrating. I get that there's some horrid family issues going on behind the scenes, and I'm sympathetic, nobody wants that. I just wish that they'd be a bit more vocal and clear on their plans going forward.

What’s this Ethan issue? I’ve seen the fig on eBay and it looks fine - what did I miss?

I like Ethan's Chella figure quite a bit. I know some folks commented about the lack of a neck, but weird proportions are part of the charm of WWF Hasbro to me lol.

These Adam Bombs came from The Asylum. I got the ones from Chella a few weeks ago, but both were released from card and Chella apparently had some email issues. I figured to just order 3 more, take the best and simply sell 3 out of 5 when Bomb is sold out. This way I should be able to cover my extra costs and don’t have to bother with the poor Chella communication.

Things is you shouldn’t have to buy loads then keep “the best” and sell the others Neither should you have to device a way around poor communication Ultimately it’s just not good enough

This is why I have become quite critical with Chella. I have been a supporter since day 1 and had been quite enthusiastic. Also their communication was very good back than. Starting somewhere between the Aldis variants and the Shernoff Fite variant the Chella experience has become worse. I have ordered Adam Bomb directly when preorder started, so I was already in the dilemma when I got the figure (which is otherwise great btw, both my ReleasedFromCard figures look fantastic and are able to stand). Lucky my I am able to just order 3 new and solve this problem my way, but it doesn’t erase the fact, that the original 2 figures I habe ordered should habe been flawless or taken care of.

I think my biggest criticism of both chella and zst is running before walking. Even experienced companies like super 7 drop ultimates in individual or two sets - I think these newly formed companies doing full series or multiple figures / lines at once is too much. Get the issues ironed out, get the process bedded in and then ramp up productivity in terms of output I think what’s frustrating is they don’t seem to learn from others issues - rush and czw have also shown a few figures - I get they do it to ramp up excitement but they hype too much then can’t live up to it. From day 1 I said get a figure or two out, get the creases ironed out, get good reviews in, make sure the back end and customer service is on par etc

Chioda is probably my favorite ref so I’m happy to see him get a figure.

Chioda is probably my favorite ref so I’m happy to see him get a figure. Was chioda in the early 90s? I remember him more from The smack down time I’d love a Joey marella who as a kid was one I always remembered along with earl
