I don't know how they are going to sell these with the Mattel retro...
Different attire and body type, I bought it and will get the retro too. I think it's cool. |

if so, realistically, it's not going to break the bank to buy a Mattel set and then sell the Greg you don't like, or keep both if you do end up liking them?
question is the money aspect - do you 'need' that money back from the Chella design? or can you wait till it's shipped and see which you'd prefer to sell on? there's bound to be a market for one them, though hardly making hundreds, more like a $10-20 profit at best

I’ve got one Chella Greg ordered….but not sure if I like the look of it or not. I will be ordering 2 sets of the Mattel retros tomorrow; one set to have loose and the other to use for customs. I’m just not sure I need 2 different R&B Greg’s…especially as part of me still wants to get a custom of the unreleased Hasbro - and I definitely don’t need 3! 😂 |

I'd say if you're already ordering the Retro set then it just comes down to which one you'd rather have. If you're ordering the Retro's at $60 then do you need another £30 Chella AND potentially getting a Hasbro custom. Only you can decide, but 3 for me is too many for my liking but you may be different. |

I've always thought the real hair looked like ass, because he's the only Hasbro with real hair and any loose ones get really bad looking That's often true, although one thing I've noticed about Doink's Hasbro that's never really discussed is how every one is different as far as the hair goes. Some figures have a huge afro compared to others, and the colour can vary from a more darker green to a more vibrant almost dayglow green. I've had a few over the years and none of them had the same hair. I snagged a near mint one about 8 or 9 years ago and the hair was and is still in great shape. For me, I never liked the molded hair, didn't feel right to me. I always appreciated the real hair as a kid while playing as the opponent could grab it, lol. When that Jakks classic first came along I grabbed it, but I was a bit gutted the hair was molded. I hoped they'd maybe give a new retro version the old look, but it's personal preference. |

I was going to order this with Chella but Mattel showed their's just days before Chella's pre-order went up. I like the colours and want it but Mattel's is so much cheaper. Anybody else think Mattel's timing here may've been the final nail to Chella? |
