Can you please point out when/where they said they would be receiving royalties? I really seem to recall the comments being made that they were paid a flat fee. royalties/fee/cut of profits
whatever you want to call it, Cardona and Myers are in receipt of money from ZST that they're not in receipt of from other manufacturers... which doesn't make them impartial on the matter
in the last week, Chella's designs for Cardona and Myers "elite" style figures have come out too, so are they miffed that Chella f'd up their opportunity to receive another payment? is that why Cardona was so critical of the new management, because their figures were effectively shelved?
face it - if they're going to get money from ZST, they're not going to crap on the product despite it's failings. and that's where they're not impartial. Chella's recent figures are much better than the earlier designs, the product has improved.
ZST didn't even make any changes between green and purple Sabu - he re-released a figure which cannot stand on its own two feet unaided. and MWFP never pointed out "You're wasting your money on a product with the same failings as before", because they don't care, they're just interested in plugging the line for a friend, because they benefit from the sales of their own figures
Which figure do you refer to when you say that Chella has improved? There are not really any new fugures. Forget about Aldis, it is bad but shouldn’t take into consideration. For me their last figures were Dynmite Kid, Adam Bomb, Brownstacks, Big Daddy. Dynamite Kid is a terrible design that gets hopefully fixed in a future release. Adam Bomb ironically cannot really stand on his own. The boots don’t look good, otherworldly the figure is good though. Brownstacks and Big Daddy I haven’t opened yet.

both Daddy and Haystacks are MUCH better quality figures than previous iterations like Dynamite and Adam Bomb.
Adam Bomb is just a solid figure, the paintwork is great, but the actual figure itself is too heavy (the factory may have messed up with plastics there, but whatever...) but if you line up the Chella line, side by side, Shernoff/Meanie's figures look a million miles apart from the quality of Daddy/Haystacks
if the new Series 2 figures are in the same quality of Daddy/Haystacks, then they'll be worth investing in going forward. big IF because we haven't seen production quality pics of the line yet, they're still showing the prototypes but not the final versions
once those land, we'll get to see whether Epic is worth investing in going forwards

Agreed on Hayabusa, despite being a little tall. Unfortunately it feels a bit like a one hit wonder with Dynamite Kid and Ego coming after him. Chella was too less hits for their misses. I really hope that Epic will have more hits. Series 2 will tell.

The Dynamite that Epic teased recently looks a lot better, assuming they're still making it. I don't mind so much about Hayabusa's scale as he was pretty tall in real life.

Other than a few customers who are still owed previously made products that were delayed due to factory issues or oversight, here is what I believe we know is in the pipeline:
MEGASTARS: Haku Tanga Loa Blue Meanie Stevie Richards Nova Ax Smash Andre the Giant Onita R&B Greg Valentine British Bulldog Adrian Street Barbarian Warlord Warhorse Buff Bagwell Hawk Animal Mo Missy Hyatt Eddie Guerrero Killer Bees British Bulldogs DDP
UNCENSORED: Sabu Charlie Haas?
WRESTLEDUDEZ: Ax Smash
IMPACT: Jordynne Grace Deonna Purazzo Moose Eddie Edwards
Please feel free to add to the list if I missed something.
Jamie/others affiliated with Epic: It would be great to have them on the podcast again and just do a rapid fire of each figure to let people know where they are at in the process.

The BCW figures are FC not Epic as are some of the other names on the retro list (Gail Kim off the top of my head but there’s others) Once series 2 are in hands Epic will be joining us again to go over what’s outstanding and where they sit basically.

I removed the ones you mentioned. Sometimes it is hard to remember who has ownership of what. I was going off of my old list and the Epic Toys IG (old Chella).

I dont remember seeing it It's on here somewhere but I can't remember where. They're in the light blue attire with a black stripe down the leg, from what I remember. They looked great, well, the drawing did.

I was in the ballpark 😄 They're definitely a must-have for me, if they're going ahead.

Is there any info known when the old old chella order will be completed? I am still waiting for 2 orders. contact Wrestling Trader as they're dealing with it all - wrestlingtrader@outlook.com
although if you're a customer from Chella, you should have already received a number of emails explaining how to get in contact about Chella orders, but if you've ordered via another website then you'd probably need to contact the company who you ordered through

My guess is that most impatient complainers (including Cardona!) are U.S. citizens; they're not accustomed to patiently await a package. They're used to walk into the store, buy their mass-produced $20.00 wrestling figure and happily go home. Now there are these small companies who simply CAN'T mass-produce $20.00 figures, who have to work through pre-orders and might be located outside of the U.S. while maybe partnering with a U.S. dealer where they will ship to before that dealer can ship to the U.S. citizen. I have all the faith in these small companies, sadly that means the U.S. experiences the waiting game. As a European I play that game for over 25 years... for me, Cardona is using his influence unfairly, to impact a competitor to the company that Cardona receives income from - if ZST sales soar for Cardona figures, Matt makes a profit if Epic/G&G/FC/Rush etc figures harm Zombie's market share (and price-wise, they will) then ZST's sales are likely to be lower, and Cardona makes less money... so he's hardly an impartial voice in the conversation now, I have no interest in buying any ZST figure unless it's in stock and available to ship tomorrow. the guy is a grifter, and he's failed to deliver products on time or within a realistic timeframe with no communication consistently, yet MWFP praise him at every turn (because they've profited from his work) but he was bragging about making a quarter of a million dollars of profit from Series 1, and he's still pulling the crowdfunding scam going into Series 3 and beyond, so I personally refuse to buy any of his figures through a pre-order mechanism going forward MWFP are not a positive influence on the community right now - the WCW entrance was an example of this, people didn't want it, so they constantly pushed the "Don't buy it for you, but invest your money that you don't want to spend for the others to get one and sell yours!" narrative, and that's a bad message for an "influencer" to be sending to a community money is tight for many, and having famous people misusing their platform to convince people who may have FOMO that "This is you doing your part for everyone else" is not a positive or morally right thing to do
Week after week we told people DO NOT buy the Nitro stage if you can’t afford it or do not want it. So this is just untrue. Lol. Did we say if this doesn’t get backed, we won’t get another crowd funding project like this? Yes. Did we say we liked it? Yes. Totally different things. We also voiced that we didn’t like the figure options and would have done it differently.

Dude, you’re just wrong. Plain and simple. Do I think Zombie’s figs are the best? Yes…that’s my OPINION. BUTTT I want all of these companies to succeed. Every single one of them. I have purchased from all of them and continue to do so. As much crap as we gave Mitch, he ing delivered two figures in timely fashion. That deserves credit. Haven’t seen a thing from Rush…just BS hype. I personally got numerous contracts, including my god damn wife, for FC lol. Epic bit off way more than they can chew unfortunately and made promises to too many talent and haven’t delivered in months/years since figures were announced. Ask Impact where there figures are? Or Sabu? Or Warhorse? I hope Epic gets their craptogether because they have awesome figures planned and a lot of talent who are really excited to get their first figure ever or in a really long time. This isn’t the Monday Night Wars. Everybody can win. All companies and all fans. Just chill out a bit. Lol.

So I say this with earnest: your coverage of ZST compared to all others is disproportionate and I can’t blame others for questioning if there is more going on than what has been discussed on your show. He has delivered a few products in the past but he hasn’t received nearly as much of the negativity/criticism/flack you have given others for missed deadlines or quality control issues. Yes you have called everyone out for making announcements and showing artwork long before items are produced. I largely agree with that. But from memory, Zombie’s backlog is even larger than Epic Toys.

Two things we have certainly mentioned publicly numerous times and to him privately. We think his product is outstanding, so we haven’t had much to say about quality control. We did mention the Danhausen cape’s being stuck to some of the figures.
