Just decided to get into MOTU Origins and now I'm jumping into the WWE MOTU figures late. So far I've got the Snake Mountain ring and the Grayskull ring (the version with the figures) and Seth Rollins from wave 4. I'll need to track down the rest of wave 4, all of 1-3, and eventually 5 and 6. So... how screwed am I? Are the first four waves long gone at this point? Series 1 - 3 can be had MOC on ebay for about $100 for complete sets. Not too bad yet.
Agreed - these waves can still be purchased reasonably (in my opinion) as I've both seen and heard of the older sets hanging around pegs.

Hoping this line continues for awhile, I've become a huge fan of it. Some of the wrestlers they haven't done yet that I'm hoping to see soon are Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Drew McIntyre, Hopefully another Hogan and not with a ring, same for Stone Cold, Ric Flair, Brock Lesnar, Edge, Mick Foley, Big Show, Eddie Guerrero, Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, Million Dollar Man, Mr Perfect, Razor Ramon/Scott Hall, Diesel/Nash, British Bulldog, Kevin Owens, The Miz, and a few of the women I would expect them to do are Bayley, Sasha, Alexa Bliss Charlotte, and Liv Morgan. Even though it seems like they are limited with how many women they can do for this line given the very few motu female characters (3 in total I think?). I'm pretty shocked that they haven't done AJ Styles or Daniel Bryan yet, but I'm pretty certain we can expect them in one of the next couple series.
I love how Mattel is doing 2-3 legends per series for this line. Not sure what happened to the original series 5 with Piper, Dragon, NWO Macho Man, and Becky, but I hope we see that one next. That Piper is amazing.
A few must-haves for me are Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, and even though I know it probably won't happen I would love for them to do one of Andre.

As far as the females, there are Princess of Power characters that open up possibilities (just off the top of my head, Naomi could be Glimmer, with The Glow and all that). I agree with your wants, though. It's such an exciting line because of all the potential crossovers between characters. Like Goldberg as Ram Man. Genius. It's fun to try to come up with ideas. |

I’ve not seen most of the sets in-store. I think Rock has been it lately and I was able to get Rollins with store pickup. I’ve paid $25 for pretty much everyone else. Jake, T, Taker, Macho, Rey and New Day I bought secondary. Piper is a massive want and Steamboat and Becky aren’t much behind. I’ll do what I have to do to get this round.

I feel like flipping out, especially because it's so hard to find certain figures these days. It's like, just sell them as general merchandise and let everyone move on, dudes. |
