This kind of thing is so frustrating. You did the right thing, but still. I feel like flipping out, especially because it's so hard to find certain figures these days. It's like, just sell them as general merchandise and let everyone move on, dudes. exactly what I politely asked to sell them as general merchandise, or I showed him the sku from online and showed him it says styles vary..still he was like nope.. my thoughts leaving were well there goes my Chance of finding this set again Sheesh. Bad business there. But that's what you'd expect from Walmart. Too inconvenient to sell them then so they flat-out deny a customer. Just poor. |

This can work, and does, but I did have two Elites the other day the woman at Walmart wanted to look up prices for on both even though I told her they were from the same rack. I think she might have been trying to make sure I didn't overpay, though, so I appreciated the effort. |

Yea my buddy that was able to scoop them up for me also said the same about them not ringing up. He texted me and said bro they are not ringing up in the system and I also told him to grab a different sku and ring it up. He had already spoke to a manager and THANKFULLY they just put it under a generic $15 sku and sold it to him. I was thinking the same damn thing about never seeing them again when he texted me the pics of them and then immediately texts me back they were not ringing up in the system. I some how have been lucky enough to get the whole series so far retail with ALOT of help from friends looking for me as well.

My area sucks for motwu. I have seen faker cena, reigns, rey, and original macho for ages. Saw Braun once or twice and thats it. I never saw anyone else in wave three in stores. I only saw Mr t and Jake once each and the cards were destroyed. Are they that hard to come by or is it my area?

Each case only consists of 1 of each figure, and I think most stores got 2 or 3 cases. I had no problem finding them for about 2 weeks and then nothing at all except for a random Rollins here and there. This was an excellent wave too. Series 2 was a massive overload almost everywhere. I only saw random series 3 figures a handful of times. Wave 5 and 6 are awesome, I hope I can find them all. |

Finally found wave 5! I got a friend up in Canada who snagged me a wave 6 set, so I'm all caught up. Couldn't be more thrilled about it. Bring on wave 7, Mattel. Let's see some Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, and Ric Flair!

Found Wave 5 for the first time today, and they still aren't ringing up. The employees were nice and helpful though, I was still able to buy the set.

Well in my opinion Becky's head is wayyyy too small. She looks funny next to any of the others. Steamboat is awesome. My favorite is definitely Piper. So well done, but then again, the whole line is amazing. This line gets better and better every series in my opinion. I hope it lasts a while longer because it finally seems like Mattel knows what they're doing and they are doing great. A friend of mine in Canada grabbed me a wave 6 with Kane, Goldberg, Warrior, and Stephanie. I cant wait to see that one up close. |

Who’s everyone’s Top 5 WWE MOTU So far - The New Day
- John Cena (Faker)
- Undertaker
- Becky Lynch
- Triple H (Series 1)
I don't have Wave 6 in hand yet but my favorites are the ones where the wrestler is a perfect mash-up with a MOTU character. I don't think they'll have a more genius idea than New Day Man-E-Faces, but the Stephanie Evil-Lyn looks pretty great... Honorable mentions go to Jake and Mysterio. Triple H isn't like a perfect Skeletor (he's more like Shao Kahn from Mortal Kombat) but it's still a great figure. The worst in my opinion has to be Steamboat. He looks fine, but they took the MOTU Origins Lords of Power Mer-Man armor and MOTU Classics Dragon Blaster Skeletor dragon... So they aren't mimicking a specific MOTU character, they're just taking the most dragon-like pieces. And worst of all, the dragon has no good way to connect to his armor, since they were made for totally different figures from completely separate lines. This one's a total mess, which thankfully is not typical of this line. |

Thx Bill very interesting take this is the kind of stuff I enjoy finding in here as everyone has the nitch and or preferences / reasoning for why they like what they like and the fact you prefer the more accurate takes of these is very cool and easy to understand i actually had several of the first couple series MOTU wasn’t that enamored with them let them go As for me I was before the He-man craze so it doesn’t hold the same charm for me didn’t see much since then that caught my eye all though in retrospect I need to go back and get the New Day one for my Daughter but having found series wave 5 in my area now i picked them all up to give it another look also my Daughter collects everyone she has met so Becky was a must Piper just reminded me of what I didn’t care for in the earlier series but then I got Steamboat & Macho in hand whole new game for me as I really liked these two guess I’m more drawn to the AWA Remco Vibe so these two were Homeruns and will be the foundation of anything else I aquire going forward which will be a case by case decision also snatched a couple marked down Seth Rollins I found last night to turn into Remco Road Warriors And put next to my original Remco Ric Flair  And all this aside I may just grab one of those Skelator peg warmers just to Honor what these are all really about |

I would most likely never buy a regular Ultimate Warrior wrestling figure but since he's basically part of the MOTU line, I had to get it. But that's just what draws me to these, and like you said, some of these you can remove all the weapons and armor and you're left with basically a modern version of AWA Remco figures. I didn't have many of those figures growing up but if I did that would be one more reason to love these. |
