I finally found Piper in stores so grabbed him & Macho for my brother. Also picked up Steamboat to see if he will autograph it next time I see him

Scored Piper 14.92, and Steamboat on Wal-marts site today, figured I got free shipping so the extra on Steamboat wasn't that bad. Savage is 28.00, Becky Lynch and Ricky the Dragon are 21.00 shipped an sold by walmart. there still available if any one needs them. Not sure why the figures are higher than retail, but Amazon is doing the same thing Masters Origins Ram-Man is 32.99 shipped and sold by Amazon and that's 19.99 retail figure.

In a turn of bad news Wal-Mart canceled my Piper today, as they wouldn't be able to fulfil the order. Got A Fiend from Ebay seller in Canada for about 40.00. Steph was on walmart it will show in stock, but its not available once you checkout.

I found Macho Man, Steamboat, and Piper this week. They had Becky, too, so I think they'd just put out one case. I wasn't working that day and could stop in around 9 am, so maybe that's why I found them. It's the first MOTWU figures I've found in stores since before the pandemic started last year and first at this (my) Walmart since Wave 1. Kind of unreal.

Here in the UK, blocked has gotten the first series in! I never thought we would see these here in the UK. I ended up ordering Ultimate Warrior and Triple H. The Warrior was priced £5 higher than the rest of the set who were all priced at £14.99. Hopefully, they are going to get the other series in too as I would love to get Randy Savage. I will probably only get the classic guys as I am pretty deep into the Star Wars Vintage and Retro Collection and my game room is drastically running out of space for me to display stuff.

I do like those, for sure. Actually excited that they are doing that line. It was just unexpected for me. I had a feeling the line was ending soon, but I was hoping for at least 10 waves. Glad we got 8, though. Anyone know when wave 7 and 8 will hit stores? Probably won't preorder. Or when the Superstars line comes out? I don't think they said on the panel.. |

I have a feeling they realized adults love the MOTU line, but they just rather have the guys look like wrestlers and not He-Man characters. So hence they revived the Remco line. I like it better then the MOTU and i love the first wave, but just sucks that it's basically competing with the Retros now. I rather them just do one or the other.

Chyna will be the only figure I get from wave 8. Rey was a pretty easy figure to find online, I would have liked to have seen a repaint of harder to find figure.
I'm excited for the SuperstarS line, but that Bray was bad choice imo.

I was able to preorder wave 7 from Walmart this morning. Had to scramble for another payment option because the card I was using had an expiration date that was after the expected ship date. Never had that happen before.

I was able to pre-order Sgt. Slaughter, so I'm happy! I just hope they don't cancel it like they did my Mr. T last year.

I've had nothing but bad experiences preordering from Walmart in the past. I'll just wait until these are in stores. Aside from wave 3 these have been quite easy to find in stores. Same goes for Hollywood Piper. I've never had a problem finding a Walmart Exclusive. Don't care for Cena or The Rock though.

I was disappointed, too, to hear the line is ending. I'm not too shocked, though. I knew it would end by a tenth wave. Wave 8 is a tad weak, but at least we're getting the Superstars line to keep the style going. I just hope they keep the big guns coming in that series. I'll be curious to see if they redo some of the characters we already got with MOTWU.

It's sad this ended before we got a lot of big names: Asuka, Drew, both Flairs, Orton (how did a Snake Men Viper not get made?!), more Horde World Order...They could've easily gotten to Wave 10. Guess it's time to do some customs. I better buy up those Stephs while they're cheap for more female characters. |

Idk if I was more disappointed that they were canceling the line or who was in wave 8. And why is it only 3? Chyna is ehh and the other 2 are repeats. Happy to have Stone cold as a carded figure, but they could have just as easily put Hogan in there. Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, etc. I'm happy with what they are replacing this line with, but damn, I'm so going to miss it. Hopefully wave 7 and 8 will be easy to find. |
