Today I received my Elite Superstar Billy Graham from Ringside
On top of being a beautifully done figure, I'm kind of having an identity crisis with it. I'm not sure how I want to display him....
What do you think is the more iconic look for BG? The way he's package? or the Younger head w/boa?
(and no, I'm not getting 2 unless I happen to come across him at retail, which is unlikely the way these CE figures have been distributed)

I'm putting up 80s version next to muraco because that's how I remember him. I wasn't alive during his 70s run and I dont buy 70s guys. I guess it depends on your preferences or display.

I bought 2 but if I could only have one it would be the 70s version with added hat from TNF Macho or Ultimate HHH.

I don't have mine from RSC yet, but from what I've seen, I think both heads look really good. Tough choice.
For me, I'm planning to display him with the younger head.

I went with 70's Superstar. I wasn't on the planet yet in the 70's, but looking back at some of the old stuff, you can see that the guy was way ahead of his time. Promo gold.
Like you, I would buy another if I found one at the store, but we know figures and store shelves don't like each other.

Younger. Poor dude went downhill fast in the 80’s, looks like he aged 30 years in 10. Younger head was him in his prime.

70s Superstar is his Prime/ iconic look. You can use the 80s head on a generic jeans/pants body and make it work without buying/finding 2 Superstar.

Love both sculpts, but went with 80s look, that era is my main display.

There’s no question it’s a stunning figure but there are a couple of points I’ve not seen people mention. In reality it’s one of these bill mash ups.
As a 70s style the body works incredibly well. However, in that period he tended to wear red boots with his purple tights and his wrist tape was normally white.
As an 80s style the upper body is nowhere near as bulky as it should be but the detail on his entire outfit is perfect. You can overlook the upper body though by using the tie dye shirt over it.
For me I went with both but I’ll be doing some fix up work to get the 70s version detail to where it should be.
Just to clarify I’m not being critical - I love the figure and Mattel for making it happen. I’m just an attention freak.

I’m in the same boat and have strongly considered a 2nd. It’s just a tad pricey for me to get 2 to Australia. Leaning towards 70’s if I only get 1, but tough call.

I just preordered another. Work in progress. It’s either going to be the green attire like I did the pink attire when Jakks released the green attire. or I will just put the white pattern on the black. And this is how and what will be displayed front and center on my shelf when I decide to put him there. I might paint the hat blue or pink though.

To me, the body is too thin for the 80s bald head. He was thicker and not as ripped during that era. Plus, his younger look from the 70s was when he was in his prime and is far more iconic.

Definitely when he was the man of the hour, the man with the power, and too sweet to be sour...before he became the poster child for old man yells at cloud.
