Imagine Shawn Michaels leaving in '97 and joining the nWo. Could the egos of Hogan and Shawn gotten along? I highly doubt it haha

No way.
Shawn probably, and i hate to say it, would have likely overdosed and died by going to WCW
but I don't even think Shawn would have even tasted the world title in WCW

No way. Shawn probably, and i hate to say it, would have likely overdosed and died by going to WCW but I don't even think Shawn would have even tasted the world title in WCW I don't know, being super tight with Hall and Nash might have helped him get there but I definitely don't think Hogan would have ever let it happen. Some of the matches we could have gotten would have been incredible though!

You know I was just thinking about this earlier. I think it would have been better all around for everyone. Shawn would have been used better in WCW because he was cool with Hall & Nash and Bret would have been able to stay in the main event picture in WWF. I always felt like we were robbed of Bret in 98-99 because WCW didn't do anything with him. He could have had some amazing feuds in the AE with Rock, Taker, etc and we could have seen him continue his feud with Austin.

Shawn probably, and i hate to say it, would have likely overdosed and died by going to WCW Agreed. Hall leaving in a way helped clean Michaels up. Instead of riding with Hall he was left with HHH, who from what I have heard isn't a drug or alchohol guy.

The Wolfpac would have been the Kliq. It would have been Too Sweet!! Would have definitely been better than randomly adding Sting & Luger after a year or more of feuding with the nwo lol

I wonder how Shawn's relationship with Flair would be like. If he were with Hall & Nash he would have gotten lumped in on all the drama there.

We wouldve got this years earlier if Shawn made the jump.... That still makes me think sometimes that Shawn has never changed. His overselling is ridiculous.

I legit think he would be dead No way in hell he would have been able to dethrone Hogan as the top guy. However, I imagine he would have probably even more insufferable tennis co-workers than he was on the WWF lol. I could see the big feud being a Hogan led NWO vs The Klique.

If Shawn would've went to WCW, I think these are the likely scenarios:
1: Shawn would butt heads with Hogan 2: Shawn and Bischoff would have butted heads 3: Shawn would've been drugged out of his mind, and being around most of that locker room would have been an awful influence 4: Shawn would've lasted two years in WCW max before returning

Neither company would have benefited.
If HBK goes to WCW we still get pretty much what we got...Unlike Hart? he wasn't facing a locker room full of political enemies but still nothing gets done with him really & as said above? I don't think things end well for Michaels.
In WWF the damage would have been greater. HBK/DX were CRUCIAL to WWFs recovery and to making HHH into a legitimate prospect. If Michaels bolts in 97? none of this happens...HHH needed him for longer than that to buddy up with on TV. By the time of WM14? HHH was where he needed to be...in Nov 97? he was not.

We probably would have gotten a rematch of WM13, Bret vs Austin for the title with Bret putting over Austin.

This would be a sub-board of the "Pro-Wrestling - WCW" board.

With the way Shawn was backstage at that time, him going to WCW, with it's inmates running the asylum problem, would have been like dousing a forest fire with jet fuel. He would go from somewhere, where Vince let him get away with a lot, to WCW where you have no restraints, especially with being buddies with Hall and Nash, would have been a disaster.

the guy was gonna take time off either way. the back injury was the reason, but the drugs kept him away for years.
