seeing brody get the w was so needed, awesome stuff

took me a few days to get around to watching it, but thought it was a great episode seeing brody get the w was so needed, awesome stuff I wouldn't say great, but I enjoyed it. I have really big expectations for Thursday. It's cool to see Brodie with a title and know there will be a payoff with it. I remember being really into him winning the IC title, but as usual WWE titles mean nothing. Here's to him having a great run! |

He was never great in ring. He was an NXT irony act. Spears belongs on Dark or getting squashed on Dynamite. He should be a Dark Order minion. Make him the new 10 for obvious reasons. He’s fine as a midcard enhancement guy but him coming to AEW was the equivalent of Brutus Beefcake coming to WCW. Shawn Spears would seriously only be the eighth most interesting member of the Dark Order (ninth if we're counting Colt Cabana). |

Only took 1 year to make Dark Order to seem like a real threat. But great show

Here's to him having a great run! a lot of people were suggesting that brodie had been damaged by the mox loss and the dark order were diminished. that was the case. which makes this win mean all that much more - even the fans doubted him, as he said. continuously talking about how execs and old agents like arn are who created the monster he is...i think his best run just started. big time. and that's enough to get a seal of greatness from me, tbh. is there things i'd change about the show? absolutely, but seeing the dark order rise to the occasion and finish the show was epic. |

Marty was supposed to be revealed as the leader in the last Dynamite of 2019 and Stu & Uno were kept out if the country for months. It hasn’t been a smooth road, but I’m glad Dark Order is a legit threat now. |

Ratings came out, .31, 755k, 5th on the night! Not bad at all.

Ratings came out, .31, 755k, 5th on the night! Not bad at all. I expected a lot lower honestly which would have been fine since they were not on their normal night. Even though there is a pandemic people do go out on Saturdays especially the ones working. I expect a big number for Thursday. Somewhere between 900,000 and a million. No NXT competition, live crowd, good card, build towards the ppv etc. |

900-1 mil is a lot. I'm gonna go slightly over 800k, but I fully expect them to be over 700k.
I'm largely unaware of what trends on Thursdays.

It is September 2nd that NXT is rumored to be moving to Tuesday that week? It’ll be interesting to see Dynamite’s rating running unopposed on a Wednesday.
