I hope Boogeyman Bill sees this thread and slots in six more Nakamura Elites. Those spots are currently occupied by Asuka who has been getting so much TV time in the COVID Era.

Look at who you are comparing Nakamura to! And he has an Ultimate, and 2 figures in Elite 81 or 82. Stop kidding yourself How dare he compare Nakamura to a list of wrestler that you listed. The nerve to compare Nakamura to a list of wrestlers that you taserface listed. God. I really really really hope that @taterface comes up with a new list of completely different wrestlers that had nothing to do with this original one. Nakamura has (or will have shortly) 8 Elite style figures As many as Bret Hart (8) Edge (8) Bray Wyatt (8) More than Sting (7) Scott Hall / Razor Ramon (7) Kevin Nash / Diesel (6) Andre The Giant (5) Ric Flair (4) If you don’t see the imbalance there then I don’t know what to say. We have known this since he was vaulted into the DM slot originally. Bill or Bill and Steve or Bill and Steve and Rob, love then some Strong Style
Bray Wyatt has 8 Nakamura has 8 Wyatt has been around how much longer? 3 or 4 years? Where was his Priority? Dolph Ziggler has been around since day 1. Has as many Elites as Nakamura Where was or still is the priority to get him in the line? Bill is not coming back here, there’s no need to suck up to him and praise his every move. It’s ok to disagree with some decisions and question some things
Did Wyatt or Ziggler win a Rumble and wrestle Styles at Mania when he was bringing credibility back to the title? No they didn't. Plus Ziggler was notorious for waiting about resigning with the company. So WWE probably told Mattel to not have Zig in lines.
No one is sucking up to Bill. Just pointing out how some people are on stupid pills.
What I meant was the original list of names that were listed are legends in the WWE sure fire Hall of Famers. You think Nakamura belongs in that conversation? That was the original comparison You can make whatever excuses you want. Wyatt has always been a bigger star than Nak, even pre Fiend, and he didn’t get that treatment from Mattel

Mattel has this business mindset of, "We don't want to blow our loads early and release the most iconic stuff FIRST," which I get...but it's backfired so much now...The Dudleyz spring to mind, arguably Matt Hardy (we never got the red and black broken look or 2001 Matt), Angle, Van Dam, Hollywood Hogan (at the time), and I'm sure I'm forgetting more... This is a point many seem to forget, Mattel are a business. If they put out the most desirable version of every figure first or second there would be no need to repeat the superstar in the line cutting down on potential releases, revenue etc

I'm a loose collector, but if Mattel released a Dos Hombres figure that was advertised as Shane Douglas with a non-removable mask I would send it off to be graded and hang it on my wall.

You never know where this will lead. I went and bought his basic when I heard the news just in-case. Jazzed it up a bit:

It wouldn’t matter...people would still complain “His fingernails are the wrong size proportionate to his figures, look at this photo, douglas’ nails were 3cm long. God Mattel are phoning it in and being lazy” - all typed in a professor frink voice

I wasn't watching wrestling anymore when Angle came around, though I was aware of him (how could you not be, right?). So I was never a "fan" but also didn't have any issue with him. When I saw his Entrance Greats figure, though, I had to get it. I think it's pretty outstanding.

Looking back, I don't think Mattel made a single good Kurt Angle figure. The atrocious part selection totally tanked the figures in my opinion.

I would like a Mattel release of Angle from his WWECW run with the repeating theme and the black wrestling shoes.
