Dark had a couple of off weeks (Which sounds like it was due to the weather more than anything so they rushed the tapings), but overall it's a very good show. Miro's promo when he jumped OC/Charles last night was probably my favourite one he's done so far. Ditto for Swole, except for her "I'm married Bay-Bay" line from pre-pandemic, which was pure gold. JD Drake is freaking awesome.

So the plan for elevation is just the long dark format split into two shows right? They think people don’t watch cause it’s so long? That’s how I understood it.

IMO they should do 6/7 matches each show. One with lower card talent that aren’t on Dynamite much, or that particular week. The other with the extras/“jobber” talent/however you want to describe them.

The other with the extras/“jobber” talent/however you want to describe them. If I had to guess that will be what ends up happening. I'm fine with splitting it too, hopefully it leads to dark having more main roster vs main roster matches and elevation having some more developmental/developmental matches |

They are too damn funny together the only issue with tony/show is they are just not up to date with a lot of move terminology. you could argue Excalibur is the other extreme, but at least when he's mixed in there is a balance. |

Had to split this viewing in two segments to go coach in the middle. On the Diamante match now. She seems to have been improving quite a bit over the last few months. I've always enjoyed her, but she was really sloppy early on in her AEW tenure. Guessing she's been putting in some extra effort with Dustin, etc.
I'll admit as a guy who watches Dark every week, I'm so confused. The commentary team is different, and I think they've done one more interview/segment than usual so far. Besides that, this is the same AEW dark I've been watching for months lol. I'm enjoying it as always, but I'm so confused about what tomorrow is going to be. I'll find out tomorrow I guess!
