There's a chance I'm reading too much into this, but Beth Phoenix was back for live commentary this week compared to doing it from home. I gotta think that means Edge is ready to return again. It'd think that and she'd be in the Women's Rumble.

There. Question answered. I don’t know why people are so bothered by this. If Aj styles wants to just say he is in the rumble and I’m deciding who should be in it I let him in cause he is a former world champion and I think he can win, if Akira Tozawa wants to declare i got....well I don’t know if thats the best use of the slots I have at my disposal. They hurt a serious character with this rule though, in Ricochet. If it had just been any of the job guys I don't think there would be as much fuss.

In the storyline context Adam Pearce was right to deny him, he hasn’t beaten anyone in months, he loses all the time. Whether you think that storyline sucks or Ricochet isn’t being used right that’s a separate argument but within the storyline to question if given one of Raws 12-13 slots to Ricochet who hasn’t beaten anyone is months makes sense in that context.

My problem with the rule was more storyline related in a sense of why put someone like Ric in that position. Although I guess they will hold themselves to it provided all their entrys who haven't needed to qualify are heavy hitters. Same goes for Smackdown.

If they have Charlotte win the Rumble two years in a row they may as well turn her heel because no one wants her automatically thrust back into that spot. But again then it would make no sense in the current storyline where we’re supposed to feel bad about her being the victim in this Lacey/Ric storyline. I’d rather see Charlotte/Lacey build out to Mania.
I feel like the Rumble needs a surprise entrant win as everyone else is too predictable or just more of something we’ve seen already. Either Becky. Rousey, Rhea, or give Trish a rumble win and have Trish/Sasha at Mania. I would say Bayley out of the current roster but she just lost the title and I have no current desire to see Bayley/Asuka or Bayley/Banks again. Too soon.

Bianca can win for the women. Sasha/Bianca will make for a fantastic wm match. I have zero real ideas for the men at this point.

I’m going with Daniel Bryan and Bianca Bel Air unless there are surprises. If Rhea is in it then I change my pick to her, but I do think Sasha vs Bianca feels like the mania match on Smackdown regardless of the Rumble victory.
I do think there is a chance Rhea wins, and faces Charlotte at Mania again with Charlotte as the champion.

Yeah i think Daniel wins the men and Rhea wins the women but if she's not in it ill pick Bianca.

I just hope Braun doesn't make his return and win the Rumble. I like to see AJ win the Rumble but I'm guessing the guys he's been keeping out of the Rumble will cost him Sunday.

In your opinion, what would be a terrifying finish for the men's Rumble?

In your opinion, what would be a terrifying finish for the men's Rumble? Well the earlier comment about Braun winning has me sufficiently terrified of that happening. I cannot stand Braun.

I just assumed that it had something to do with the fiend.

In your opinion, what would be a terrifying finish for the men's Rumble? Braun winning or Goldberg losing to Drew and then entering and winning.

I’m not really sure what could be so bad unless it was Goldberg, so my guess is it’s referring to Goldberg. Please all I want is to see his old ass lose to Drew and not be seen again on the show (or ever).

Orton in the Rumble. Fiend not been seen since literally being set on fire. Randy just RKO'd Bliss. They'll want to get him back in the mix to build something for Mania.
"Scary" Rumble finish planned.
SURELY it involves The Fiend?

I will NOT watch Mania if Goldberg goes over Drew. That’s the ing worst, Drew will never be able to recover from that and will lose all his credibility. Then you have Goldberg win it and who the hell does he drop it to at Mania? Complete rubbish and it’s so bad I think they’re going to do it.

While I 100% agree Goldberg going over Drew would completely sewer any interest I have in the men's title picture and be a god awful decision, I don't think they're going to. I think this is going to be a slightly less squashy repeat of Braun going over Goldberg at Mania last year. The key difference being Drew isn't awful and can actually carry a title. Basically I think they're trying to fix their mistake of having Goldberg put over Braun by having him put over Drew instead. My judgement may be clouded slightly by my inability to stand either Goldberg or Braun in any capacity, coupled with how high I am on Drew as a flag bearer for the whole company.
