I assume at this point the fiend and Orton is going all the way to mania right? I don’t think you have a feud going on since October to end it a month before mania?

I really do wonder if it is something that involves The Fiend and Orton then results in a non finish in the rumble or something like that.

Mine is a much more outlandish scenario: Retribution geeks storm the ring after Ali enters late but gets eliminated. |

What could go wrong? Honestly think it’ll be a Firefly Funhouse match in the same vein as the one with Cena. He will expose Orion’s insecurities and will have callbacks to how Orton made him look like a chump at Wrestlemania, just like Cena did. |

There's no chance that Fiend is winning the Rumble, I think him vs Orton is a lock for Mania, and I imagine he does some form of mind games to lead to Orton being eliminated (potentially like Undertaker and Kane at the 2004 Rumble). I don't think they'd have the nerve to end the Rumble with a non finish, though if they did go this route, it would give them the clean path to have the Roman Reigns vs Goldberg Title vs Title Match at Wrestlemania.
Part of me is now wondering if Edge wins, and sets up a Spear vs Spear vs Spear Triple Threat, but I think his addition was a late, last minute one, and they'd have probably kept him as a surprise entrant again if this was the plan.

They aren’t going to do a Champion vs Champion match. Since it’s two nights they are going to want to anchor each night with a World Champion match.

When the quote is "scares the death out of me" I don't think that is at all eluding to something "spooky" with The Fiend. They come across worried that a bad decision is being considered.

For the record Bryan Alvarez thinks the scary rumor is Lana winning the women’s rumble at 30 and everyone already being eliminated. Though I am not totally against a finish like that occurring at some point down the road, I don’t think it will be Lana just because she won’t be able to hold the in ring portion of a marquee mania match.

That would be an awful decision, but at the same time funny as  . But yeah Lana vs Asuka at Mania isn't exactly a good match. Would probably end up Shayna 'breaking' Lana's arm and stealing her spot, and then a triple thread of Sasha/Bayley/Bianca on the other side, having Bianca/Bayley eliminating each other at the same time to setup the Lana win. |

Im ok if they have Lana win in that capacity as it is something different and would get everyone talking so WWE would accomplish their goal of creating buzz. The caveat being that Nia Jax then proceeds to put her through 30 tables one after another on Raw which leads to a real #1 contender for Wrestlemania being decided.

I actually don't think I'd hate it. Now they have 2 Rumbles it wouldn't feel as much of a waste, especially when the women are likely to open the show. It's also something completely new that we've never seen before.
Sure I'd much rather see Belair, Bayley, Ripley or Baszler win, but it wouldn't be terrible.
