Honestly I'm a big fan of Cage, but he might end up being the least valuable person in the entire stable when all is said and done. He’s only in this spot to make Darby look good. I thought that was obvious to everyone Nah Cage will still do plenty going forward. Khan's really high on Cage. Wouldn't have paid him for months while he was hurt if he didn't want the guy for more than just building others up. |

No DQ after using a belt? The commentators are just going to ignore that? Cage hucked him into a table lol Cage threw him over the top rope and the table just happened to be there. Cody whipped guys with his belt earlier on in AEW and the refs never cared. Maybe belt usage has been legal all this time in AEW and I didn't know? |

If the match started and Darby just dominates the match and pins Cage, THEN I’d say that Cage was “buried”.
Cage looked like a badass who I want to see again and Darby got a high profile win.
I’m happy.

I’ve been 6’5” 300lbs, And had smaller guys lift more, but out in the field I drive them off the ball, just bigger more physical. In no believable world should Cage lose to Darby unless Darby is the heel and cheats, and especially not after being obliterated as he was in the match. LOL ok muscles go smoke a joint and stop taking a fake sport so serious Salty |

Yeah this entire feud was 100% for Darby from day one, no argument there. I really enjoyed the match but at zero points did I think Cage was ever winning it. |

I thought tonight was a great show. AEW has its flaws, but those flaws are relatively small compared to other places right now. Can’t wait to see next week’s show!

Agreed. I didn't care for the ending to the Miro match at all (I was actually enjoying it until it just ended out of nowhere), and I wasn't crazy about how the Baker segment went this week (The ones on dark have been much better imo. Less Jerry Springer more sarcastic a.f. Britt), but overall a hella good show as always. Super excited for the Dark Order/Hangman stuff next week.

All booking aside, you have to respect Cage's willingness to put over others. He did the job for Tessa in Impact and made Jordynne Grace and others look great in the All In Battle Royal.

Marko is short, skinny, has the body of an 11 year old, and sucks. Spike Dudley was short, skinny, had the body of a 11 year old, and was good. Jake Hagar is, strong, and sucks. Lance Archer is big, strong, and is good. Some belong, some don't. I gave Marko Stunt a shot with the same kind of arguments. That was then though. I'd be happy if I didn't see him in AEW anymore. I have no probs with darby winning, the beat down and power moves he took to then keep constantly kicking out was too much for me to take though, i knew Darby was kicking out but i still kept laughing.
They booked him like mankind vs the undertaker from 96 but as a babyface, it just didn't feel right to me, no probs with those who bought into it and enjoyed it but also not a fan of the roll up finish, it was more deadly than the f5 and the triple powerbomb in this match.
Fun show though, i was entertained throughout except for the main and a few other small parts I didn't care for but the booking won't always be to your liking.

fun show.
Kingston/PAC opener was great. Hard hitting
Miro and Chuck was a bit of a wash, but whatever
Matt Hardy...not really about it but it's the best thing he's done in the company yet
Darby/Cage video segment was killer
Elite/Club match was fun. Intriguing booking by leaving out da bucks
great female match, I'm becoming a fan.
Cage throwing Darby should've gotten a bigger reception. Hell of a spot. Cage/Darby are excellent trade offs, like watching spider man vs Hulk. Very fun main event

How is he buried? That was literally the only time he’s been pinned in AEW. He lost to essentially Marko Stun pretending to be Sting. Brian cage has also been pinned clean by tessa blanchard in impact wrestling. |

I’m on the side of people who don’t really think Brian Cage has been used in a meaningful way so far. I mean they aren’t gonna use everyone right, it’s just the way wrestling works. But I do think they have beat him way too often and not really given him any meaningful wins.
