My dog is named Pongo. I always liked that name after seeing 101 Dalmatians as a kid. He’s a basset hound but it works for him Basset Hounds are like the Steve Austin of dogs, they get anything over cause they’re so damn adorable. Pet that wrinkly baby for me Will do!

I thought that Kovatch or Seagrave would be a great name for a Dalmatian since they are named after fire apparatus companies

All my family’s pet names Corky & Mischief - Mother/daughter cats that were my mom’s that she brought with her when she married my dad. Chipper - a collie that was their first pet together. Patches & Needles - a pair of sister cats we got from a shelter when I was a in first grade. (Needles lived to be 20 years old) Patches - Needles - Peanut - a miniature collie when I was in high school. Trouble - a cat I rescued from the street as a kitten the summer of ‘85. My mom took him with her when she moved to CA in the late 90’s. Calvin - a cat my wife bought from a pet shop by her work when we were first married. Benny & Needles - the two cats we have now that we got in 2007. I didn’t want to name the one Needles but our daughter named him after my childhood cat. Benny - Needles - And my wife’s family had 4 dogs through the years named Smokey - a big gentle husky. Coco - a poodle. Mackie - a golden retriever. Charlie - a King Charles. Unfortunately Needles passed away this morning on the way to the Vets. About 8 months ago he was diagnosed with kidney disease and a growth inside him. the options were put him down or wait a see. And seeing he was still himself in every other way we brought him home and while we knew it would eventually take him it felt like he was doing better over these last 8 months as he was putting on weight and still acting like his happy self. But then Monday It started the same way as usual where I went into the kitchen and started to crack a can of cat food to have him charging in at my feet before the top is completely off the can. I fed him and then took the trash to the curb. When I came back in he had lost all movement in his hind quarters. And was just dragging himself back to his bed. We called our vets but they were completely swamped and couldn’t even do emergency visits that day. They said to call back the next morning or go the the pet ER hospital if we felt it couldn’t wait. We decided to call his old vet. They said they could see us so we went in. Anyway after them assuming we hadn’t taken him to the vets in over 8 years, because that was the last time they saw him. We told them his medical history. So this vet gave him fluid, did blood work and sent him home. Last night they called back with the results and of course it was what we knew it would be. But it was too late for them to see him again. Then this morning we called to say I wanted to bring him in to be put down so he wouldn’t be suffering because he started whining this morning. They told my wife they couldn’t see him after 4:30. I wasn’t happy with that so I called his regular vet and explained when had happened since Monday and they said bring him right in. And unfortunately he passed on the ride to the vets. Rest In Peace buddy!

My pets are named after trading places characters: my cat is Mortimer and my dog is Winthorpe.

No offense to the person with the bulldog, but there are only two acceptable names for a bulldog, Davey Boy & Dynamite. Edit: ok, if it’s a girl, Mathilda is also acceptable. Don't forget Winston.
