I LOVE Batista but he doesn’t come close to Cena. Neither were bad main eventers as both drew like crazy, were insanely over, and had ton of classics. Batista had a ton of classics? Lol news to me. Yup. Against Triple H, Edge, Undertaker. |

Rey mysterio I haven’t watched wrestling since 2000 so I don’t know the newer guys Mysterio didn't hit the main event scene until 2006! |

Yeah but he’s the only guy I knew beyond 2000 and I thought he was way out of place for main events I don't know, I think he fits the bill pretty perfectly - fans paid to see him, he shifted shed loads of merchandise, he was beloved by all age-groups, he was absolutely never getting himself into trouble or into the papers/media for the wrong reasons, he was a company guy, not terrible on the mic and absolute dynamite in the ring. Not sure what else he needed to be to fit in to what a main eventer needs to be. |
