Seems like you're putting yourself in a tough situation. I'd suggest taking a break from collecting and enjoy what you already have.

I’m also from the UK. Was a hardcore collector from day one of the line up to around elite 50. I remember going to Smyths daily in late 2009/early 2010 to see if the first series had been put out. I remember walking through huge puddles in the pouring rain to get to Toys R Us for the Ricardo Rodriguez series. My first trip to America was for WrestleMania 33, and I spent so much time and money buying wrestling figures from Target, Toys R Us, Walmart etc.
But towards the end of 2017 or early 2018, I realised that financially and space wise, it wasn’t hugely worth it to me anymore. I kept planning to start a figure Fed with them, but that was never gonna happen because I’d grown out of that stage of life many years ago. I was kinda collecting them to please 8 year old me rather than adult me.
I’ve sold a lot of my collection and haven’t bought any Mattel WWE for three years or so now (besides retros). I still love looking at the new figures, and sometimes I regret stopping and selling some of the highly sought after stuff, but overall I’m glad I did. I may eventually get back into building a collection of just Edge or Kofi/New Day.

Maybe I’m wrong, but to me it sounds like you are comparing your collection to others. It’s definitely not a competition. I know IG and Twitter can seem like a “my collection is better than your thing”. It’s all about quality and not quantity IMO. Collect what you can afford. At the end of the day figures are not very important and you should never have them as a priority. Just my two cents.

I cut back on collecting for the most part until this last year (these Jazwares figs are rad!). When I decided to start winding down I sold the ones I didn't want to keep and would only get the figures of guys I enjoyed on the independents who were now getting figures. There's no rational reason to buy everything that comes out. I say draw the line somewhere and go from there.

lay your figures down to rest Don't you buy no more. Listen to your heart. (Or your wallet/finances) I'm not a financial advisor

Not necessarily. Some people just like music. Others like nostalgia And other still just have taste. Could be any of those instead of a Supernatural fan.

This is really honest -- and cool that you were able to realize that. I think a lot of people feel the same -- but can't be honest with themselves like you were.

Skip Bayless is the most uncool person to ever wear a pair of Chicago 1s. He has sullied that sneaker.
