I totally fell out of figures midway through the Jakks RA run, and until AEW came out, I was only getting very select figures - mostly the legends.
I collect all the AEW figures but I do so in a way that overall it is greatly inconsequential to me if I do this because if I invest too much focus on them, my OCD will take over and effectively turn a hobby into a job.
I sold my Brandi a while ago, thinking I'd find another, and now realize that was a silly choice. but it is what it is.
remember, own the figures, don't let them own you.

Not necessarily. Some people just like music. Others like nostalgia And other still just have taste. Could be any of those instead of a Supernatural fan. here comes the money 💰 If this is, as I suspect, a dig at me not having taste for being a Shane fan... I never said I had taste. I'll be the first person to admit my choices for entertainment and such are objectively subpar at best. So much of my fan experiences fall into the realm of "Cringe Culture" that it's absurd. Case in point, I own seasons 1-9 of Supernatural on DVD, along with almost ALL of Doctor Who (The New stuff, and a ton of classic) and ALL of BBC Sherlock. That's right. I was one of THOSE types. What can I say. You like what you like. There's nothing really wrong with being a SPN fan, you do you. But the climate on the internet has gotten so awful that I can't help but rag on fans of the show (despite being a bit of one myself) because the overwhelming hate spewed for liking it has infected my brain and now I have internalized cringe simmering 24/7 in my mind. (Sorry for the off topic rant, I'm just feeling defensive is all. Carry on.)

If you get out, Sell everything now while collecting is hot and get a decent payout. But just know if you get back into it, you’ll be paying top dollar.

This has nothing to do with the content of the hobby.
Simply put...do the things in life that you can afford to do.
If you do things you can’t afford to do repeatedly you will create stress and scarcity in your existence.
The options become: 1. Live within your means 2. Expand those means 3. Live beyond them at your own peril
