I didn’t watch the show last night. Watched it today. Overall it was an awesome show.
First two matches were great! Very exciting matches. I’m surprised the Bucks retained.
Battle royal was decent: Jungle Boy winning was the right choice.
I don’t have a problem with Cody winning and he carried Anthony to a good match.
TNT title match could have been better, but it was booked right with Miro looking like a monster.
Finally Britt Baker is women’s champion! Match was good albeit sloppy at times.
Sting is forever young!
Three way was a very exciting match. I was hoping they’d throw a curveball and have Omega lose, but he’s holding the belt until at least all out it seems.
Stadium Stampede was better than last years imo. I like Sammy being the guy who scored the pinfall.

Adam Page is a World Champion in the making in my honest opinion and I personally think that he should be the one to take the title off of Omega at All Out in September. Sammy Guevara needs to win some kind of singles title this year. |

Hi, just popping in to say that this was a great show. The worst thing on the show for me was Cody/Ogogo, partly because I just wasn't very interested, and partly because it was the lowest quality match on the show IMO. And that's not to say it was bad or anything, it was fine, Ogogo is just still very new to this and this angle probably shouldn't have even happened yet. Cody winning was the right call.
Not really going to go into any kind of detail or anything, but I'll just say that my three favorite matches of the night were Omega/PAC/OC, Bucks/Mox-Eddie, and Shida/Britt. Hangman/Cage was great as the opener, and even though I don't care for Miro or Archer (especially Miro) even I thought they had an entertaining match. Stadium Stampede was good, and the Sting/Darby match was way more fun that I thought it would be. I'm not too interested in Sting, but he looked really good in this match. AEW just delivered big time on this show for me and I hope this continue like this in the future. Mark Henry was a really cool surprise as well.

Shot in the dark... anybody who still has the show available, would you be able to get the bell-to-bell time for Stadium Stampede? I saw 27:10 on one site and 31+ on another. Quite the difference.

It was because of Cody, Kenny and the Bucks that we even have AEW. They created the movement. If anything I was upset how Omega was used at first, he should have been the main event since Day 1. Cody as a face has outlived its usefulness. Heel Cody is needed, he could really put over Jungle Boy or Page before they get the title.

I'm probably the wrong guy to appreciate these comparisons. I was a fan of JJ in TNA, thought he was excellent as the heel champion and essentially put AJ on the map as a major wrestling star.
but I can appreciate other's perspective on it even if I don't share it.

I'm not a huge Cody fan, but I do appreciate what he's done in AEW. Maybe I’m just tired of this phony feeling character he’s got. I was interested when it seemed he might turn heel because I do think he’s talented. The match with Dustin was one of my favorites of the last 10 years or more. It’s just the pro America baby face stuff has never been my thing where all foreigners are evil |

That ra-ra pro-America stance has always been instant heel to me, and Cody's no different. He's been doing that whole 'will he, won't he' act with turning for a while, and that pretty much made him a heel to me. |
