She's one of the biggest stars in the company and yet it's been a few years since she last had a figure. Not only that, but in her 6 years with the company she has only had 3 Elite figures. No basics or even a Kabuki Warriors battlepack with her updated face paint.
She's a big name and has a cool look so it's strange that there aren't more figures of her.

Less than two years isn’t a few years. But I don’t disagree that there could be a few more over the years. Then again, Charlotte only has 1 elite figure.

Asuka has been on TV so much during the Pandemic Era, Sweaty Bill is working on 6 new figures of her right now.

Her ring gear is always really elaborate with a lot of paint deco. Basically it's hard to budget for her. They would need to remove a lot of color detail to even attempt a basic, and that's before you even get into how textured her gear is. Notice how a lot of other wrestlers have one or two central colors per outfit, and mostly it's geometric color-blocking, or a logo on a pure, fully saturated color. Look at Elite 85, which is a lineup mostly of black clothing and the most difficult deco is Aleister Black's tattoos. Asuka's my favorite active wrestler, but her figures totally break budgets. The Monsters figure gave her mono-black gear to make it work as a Basic.

I would like more Asuka’s, personally, being that she is my favorite female superstar today. However, outside of a few other gears of hers, the Network Spotlight figure has been perfect enough of a figure to fill the void in my collection. Her upcoming Elite 87 figure looks even better.
Hopefully, with how prominent she’s been over the past few years, I’d imagine we should be getting more later on.

Surprisingly enough, all of her elites have been in her NXT gears. E87 will be her first actual main roster attire debut in figure form.

Because she breaks the budget with 15 colors on every piece of gear she owns

Seems like the only female superstars who get lots of figures are Becky and Alexa, followed by Sasha maybe (that are mostly Basics). I don't understand it, but the budget thing makes a lot of sense.
I'm no Charlotte fan, but she doesn't get many figures, either, despite WWE pushing her nonstop. If you're male and getting a big push, they'll make a handful in a year's time and then keep going. These are being marketed to little boys, though, so their interests must play into it.

Charlotte might be a low-key case where the designs on her gear are surprisingly elaborate -- a lot of ornamental flourishes, a lot of glitter and metallics. She's a case like Sasha is sometimes where it's easier just to do a Basic and approximate the deco in a muted way.

And if they tried to do a budget friendly version of her figure by taking liberties with the design and colors there would be a large group complaining how inaccurate it was and wrestlers with podcasts making fun of it and calling out Bill bringing their audience to pile on the negativity.

I feel like she’s had more Elites than most females on the roster? Not to say it’s been a lot, but I feel like she’s had the same amount or more than Charlotte, Sasha and Bailey. I don’t collect the females so I could be off, but I don’t think there’s a lack of figures of her.

I think it's largely that female wrestlers are naturally going to have fewer figures than their prominence or popularity, because there are fewer spaces in any given wave for women. Asuka's had a decent amount by women's wrestler standards, but her and 3/4 Horsewomen are probably underrepresented as Elites when you put them side-by-side with men of comparable status. It just stands out more with Asuka because her gear means you can't make a Basic of her. (Although I'm surprised they never tried with the T-Shirt Trick.)
