Legends 17 Ken Shamrock (Chase)

ROUND TWO with Ken shamrock, GET READY TO TAP! the chase figure of the wave is the man here big bad ken and mattel decided to give us his ICONIC blue and silver attire as the chase figure of the wave; i kinda feel like the green trunks figure should have been the chase and the blue more widely available, but either way im just glad we finally have these attires in elite form. what makes this figure different from the main is the fact that he is wearing his classic blue trunks with silver logos, and blue and black kickpads. i will say that mattel made a BIG FLUB on this figure and reversed the colors on his kneepads. he wore blue kneepads with black legsleeves, not black kneepads with blue legsleeves. we were this close to greatness😩 the kickpads look great however and seem to be accurate in deco. my ken figure has a weird factory defect spot on his right pec which is slightly annoying.
all in all this Ken is a must have for your attitude era roster. he comes in the iconic blue trunks we've come to know and love and also the attitude era I.C title which he really does look great wearing as well.


Legends 17 Ranking

coming off of the Molly/Rey/Acolyte wave, i think this was a pretty strong offering of characters and attires. i think all in all i was 3/4 excited for the figures in this lineup. the HBK figure was neat to have but i honestly feel like the attire wasnt completely unique. it was far too similar to the RSE figure and i felt like mattel couldve pulled out something way cooler for a flashback HBK than to do a repaint like that. the Warrior figure was---unique. i do like the really early super flashback looks that mattel has done ala Mean Mark etc but some looks and characters are so far removed from the talent pool produced that they kinda slightly lose their appeal because you cant do much but fantasy book with them. this is definitely a 'legends' worthy appearance, but given ALLLLL the attire choices for warrior that they could produce, they gave us a warrior in bold red trunks. the AJ Styles figure was surprising, i was actually a HUGE AJ fan during his TNA run and this is the closest we'll ever get to an AJ in that look or from that era-- i just felt like the attire was a bit lackluster. finally the Ken Shamrock figures were absolutely ace by me. i was a little upset that they miscolored his kneepads, but beyond that the figures are perfect and really fun to pose around.

i did cave in and buy a Torrie Wilson figure on ebay because i really wanted to get one and it finally came in today. i love it, Torrie was so cool during her run and its awesome to finally have a good figure of her in the collection😊

Target 3 pack 1-2-3 Kid

bringing in the noise today is the Target Raw anniversary 3 pack! striking in first is the 1-2-3 Kid coming in from the $10000 challenge match against razor ramon. The headsculpt looks great on this figure, we get the kid giving us a kindof tough looking snarl expression sporting the mullet hairstyle. Kid is wearing his blue lightening singlet with lightening bolts throughout and white lightening logo on the chest and 'L.Kid' logo on the back. this figure was given black elbowpads, kneepads, and kickpads. for accessories, this figure was given the money sack and the $10,000 in fanned bills. these bills are printed differently than the bills that were included with Cameron Grimes.
all in all this 1-2-3 kid is definitely worth having in the collection. my particular figure has a REALLY loose ab crunch so thats annoying, but the outfit design and headsculpt are accurate to the character and match.



Target 3 pack Razor Ramon

gliding in alongside the Kid is the man oozing machismo, Razor Ramon, also in his gear from the $10,000 challenge match. the headsculpt on this figure is the classic Razor Ramon sculpt that we've seen many times before. Razor also comes with his gold chains which actually look really good, that paint apps and choice of color looks great. This Razor comes to the ring wearing a green and black vest; the vest features gold paint apps on the front buttons and a Silver and Gold Razor Ramon logo on the back. This Razor was given a black elbow pad on his right arm and green elbowpad with the Razor logo on his left--i really like the shade of green they chose for this attire. True to his attire from the match, Razor is wearing some green trunks with yellow Razors logos outlined in red on the front and back. going down the figure, Razor is wearing some Green legsleeve style kneepads with Razor logos on the front and black kneesleeves painted underneath. Finally this chico is wearing tall green boots with white laces.
all in all this is a fantastic Razor Ramon figure. the green attire really pops and looks great amongst the figure lineup and even better faced off against the 1-2-3 Kid figure from the pack. Mattel did a great job with both of these figures, even though they are both just repaints with double jointed arms i really like the idea of having both figures in match specific gear.

E16 The Rock

Finally.....THE ROCK HAS COME BACK to the reviews! this was a figure i scooped up on ebay, and it was late at night, and i had a few Broken Skull IPAs and i thought to myself WOW what a screaming deal on a rock figure! 😂🤣 Anyways this Rock figure is from Elite 16 and it portrays Rock during his return to WWE in the Survivor Series 2011. the headsculpt on this figure is passable? it looks to attempt to capture Rock in a serious, stern expression but the paint apps make Rocky look befuddled and confused, almost in a state of disbelief or disgusted shock? couldve been checking out his goatee in the mirror 😆 the goatee is the worst part of the head on this figure, it looks like a badly drawn sharpie beard. this rock was given the 'classic era' Rock torso, he was a little more beefed up during his post 2010 returns so i wouldve expected them to use the ripped torso but we got classic rock physique here. this figure features his samoan inkwork on his left arm/pec and the iconic Brahama Bull on his right bicep. This Rock figure is wearing the ugliest attire Rock ever wore to the ring and that was SILVER logo BRAHAMA BULL Trunks featuring the Brahama Bull on both the front and back of his trunks. the rest of this Rock figure is classic Rock elite with the Rock style calf exposed boots. for accessories, this Rock came with not one but TWO rubber shirts, a microphone and a pair of sunglasses.
All in All, PASS on this Rock figure. the figure came with wack accessories, the facial hair on this figure looks atrocious and the Trunks look really bad. if Rock had not actually worn these i would assume this was a bootleg figure or something.

it was a busy week i did a bunch of new training at work, it was fun; im hungry for knowledge!

i went on a bunch of figure hunts to wal marts looking for the RA series but i didnt find anything locally except the Stone Cold Steve Austin figure randomly at my local wal mart. i havent seen the end cap or the figures at any other wal marts 😭.

i think we're gonna roll through the figures i picked up from Elite series 99



Elite 99 Brock Lesnar

stomping into todays review is the farmer incarnate, Brock Lesnar! this Brock comes to us today in some street Farm gear wearing a black cowboy hat, dark grey overalls and a grey and black plaid flannel sleeveless top. the headsculpt on this figure looks great! it captures a modern Brock with the ponytail and beard in am excited, happy, jovial, laughing expression. the torso is a brand new sculpt, seemingly specific to Brock but mattel sculpted the details on the overalls straps and pockets really well. the double jointed elbows allow for bork to pose as if he was holding his straps in a classic farmer pose. the crotch piece is also new and Brock sized; sculpted to match the overalls. and finally the legs are the classic pant/jeans mold going into black boots.
all in all this Brock is a really cool, unique figure. its always cool to get some characters in street gear or promo gear and mattel really nailed this Country Brock figure. the included cowboy hat fits the figure great, the sculpting on the overalls looks good and the figure poses around really good and just all around is a great fun figure to have.

E99 Seth Rollins

continuing the reviews for E99, today we have the architect, the drip king, Seth Rollins. im not the biggest rollins fan so i dont usually trip over myself to acquire one of his figures, but this one was really cool and i thought it was worth the pickup. the headsculpt on this figure is a bit of an older sculpt, but tbh i really like it, especially for this character and attire. it captures seth in a sort of jovial looking laugh or shout or a classic HAAAAAAAAA expression. its definitely not photorealistic, but the paint apps are looking good on my figure and i like it. this figure was given a spectacular white 'leather' entrance coat and its absolutely fantastic. its super quality and it both fits and looks great on the figure; everything from the overall texture of the material to the fur linings, it all looks quite ace. they gave seth his classic torso with chest hair and interchangeable hands; no complaints here. the tights are really cool; theyre black tights with some metallic silver sort of foil designs printed in contrasting stripes on the gear-the execution looks great i like it alot. the most unique thing about this seth figure are his sculpted white and gold kickpads and 'cuff' added to the left knee to extend the kickpad outwards. its a super cool look, and i love how the white and gold on the boots contrasts the black and silver of the tights.
all in all despite not being the biggest seth rollins fan, even i have to admit this is a really badass figure of the man. the jacket is stellar-i love the quality of the item, the headsculpt works and looks really well with posing and the attire is really unique and mattel actually did a great job pulling it off. id recommend scooping up this figure for the collection for sure!

i was on a business trip this past week and did some fig hunting and ended up finding the RA Series Undertaker and Eric Bischoff figures!! stoked for that! wish i could find the rest of them now!



E99 Corbin

continuing the reviews for Elite series 99, today we have Baron "Happy" and "down on his luck" Corbin figures. personally wasnt a fan of how corbin ended up being handled on the main roster; im an old nXt nerd and i really enjoyed his "Lone Wolf" gimmick and character. i really wasnt even interested in buying this figure at first but i happened to see it at my local wal mart and thought 'what the heck'. the headsculpts on this figure are amazing. they are pretty photorealistic portrayals of Corbin. the Happy Corbin face sees him in a happy jovial open mouthed smile with a clean, trimmed beard and the "bad luck" corbin head sees him looking descheveled, sad and confused with a scraggly beard and receding hair. Happy corbin has a white fedora style hat for entrance gear and it looks and fits the figure great. he is wearing a short sleeve black button up shirt with a really cool golden yellow/orange floral/pedal designs and chain links. its a really cool design and colorscheme almost reminiscent of something the Rock would wear. mattel included his chest tattoo details in the opening of the shirt by the collar and his left arm tattoos. Corbin is rocking some black wristbands and was given some interchangeable hands which look great while posing. the rest of this Corbin figure is pretty cool as he utilizes the suited pant leg mold in black. when switching to the bad luck corbin figure, mattel included a white 'button up' shirt with a little ketchup stain on the left chest. im not sure how i feel about it, it looks decent, but when you fold the collar down, you can see the molded collar of the other shirt beneath, so its obvious you put a shirt over a shirt and idk.
all in all this is a pretty cool figure of Corbin. its a unique look for the mattel line with the new sculpted shirt and the suited pants. the color and designs of the shirt are probably my favorite thing about this figure and the headsculpts are amazing for this figure, i can instantly see Corbins likeness in both of them. i personally wasnt a fan of this character for Corbin so im a little indifferent other than the fact that its just a great looking figure overall.

ive been out on a business trip for the past two weeks and i was lucky enough to find the Ruthless Aggression Cena AND the entire legends 19 series while i was hunting 💪😎 never get tired of that feeling.

Top Picks John Cena

coming in today is Jjjjjaaaaaahhhhhhhhhnnnnnnn CEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNAAAAAAA! ive been really happy with these new Cena figures as of late, couldnt pass up this top picks elite. This John Cena comes to us rocking his 16-UP Super Mario Borthers 3 themed attire from 2021. Cena is sliding into the ring coming with a Red White and Blue 16-Up hat and a Black softgoods Mario Bros themed shirt for entrance gear. the hat looks really cool and-im a huge mario fan-so the shirt looks amazing. i know the actual shirt listed his 16 championship victories on the back but this shirt does not include that print. underneath that gear, this figure then is essentially a re-paint of Johns Elite 95 figure. we get his newest modern headsculpt with the longer swept back back hair featuring nice fade paint apps on the back and sides, and then the ever classic john cena torso and shorts mold. this john is decked out with a black armband and wristbands; im so happy that mattel has a mold for these now the figures look so much better than having that painted on. the armband has a 'Never Give Up" logo while his right wristbands feature the "U cant C Me" logo and his left showcase the wwe championship centerplate design. a unique feature on this Cena figure is that his belt has gold,red and black striped paint apps that match the rest of the colorscheme of his outfit. Big Match John is wearing some dark blue denim shorts and classic black and white Cenasneakers.
all in all this is a pretty great John Cena figure. the likeness in the headsculpt is on point and his attire is really freaking cool. i enjoy the poseability of the new Cena figures despite the ankle issues still; but the shorter jorts mold and molded kneepads recipe works out pretty good, imo. i cant say this Cena is a MUST HAVE for the collection-its not from a huge memorable moment or match, but its a really good modern era cena with double jointed arms, softgoods shirt and molded arm and wrist bands!

Coming in today with a SUPER Sunday as we break into the monumental 🎆🎇Elite Series 100🎇🎆

i was really excited for the reveal of this series; 100 series of elite figures is huge! i think i started collecting around the release of Elite 13, and here we are 87 series later still pumping out really awesome figures. over the years we've seen truefx upgrades, intro of interchangeable hands and heads, and now double jointed elbows!

i will say that the lineup reveal was a tad bit underwhelming but mattel did a great job with the characters and figures chosen for elite 100!



Elite 100 Andre The Giant

certainly did not have street gear Andre on my wwe mattel bingo sheet for elite series 100 predictions, but here we are showcasing the 8th wonder of the world in a dapper street gear setup. the headsculpt on this andre looks amazing! it showcases Andre in a serious glare expression and the likeness is on point! the truefx paint apps to my figure were applied crisply and cleanly. The Giant is dripped out in a lilac checkered jacket and a salmon colored under shirt. the sculpts and scaling look great for andre. lastly for attire this andre is wearing dark blue jeans and black boots; i believe these are the Omos legs but i havent certainly confirmed. for accessories, Elite 100 Andre the Giant was given Hulk Hogan's gold cross necklace and the mystical "Andre '86 championship belt. when i learned that Mattel was finally doing an Andre '*^ belt i nerded out head because it happens to be my all time favorite belt design. This particular Belt came with an extra large dark navy blue strap and VAC plates.
All in all this Andre actually turned out looking pretty amazing. i do however wonder why they did this figure for Elite 100. they would end up releasing the Andre Ultime Edition figure shortly after with the belt aswell so i almost feel like the spot Street Gear Andre took up in Elite 100 was not warranted. im a huge Andre nerd and i love the way this figure ended up turning out but i think it weakened the impact of Elite 100. im not a huge Triple H fan but i honestly feel like the Game would have strengthened this wave. Steal the upcoming legends release and add an attitude era Winged Eagle belt and send it. Andre could have been saved for elite 101 or something else.

E100 John Cena


Five Knuckle Shuffling into the reviews today is the Dr of Thuganomics himself, John Cena! This Cena seems to be from the promo shots he took right after becoming the wwe champion and changing the belt design to the spinner. This Cena comes to the ring wearing his Chain Gang gear featuring the iced necklace and a black hat for entrance gear. this figure has a great headsculpt showing Cena in a confident smirking, smiling expression. its interesting that they gave him the old torso, however its for a classic era Cena so i guess it follows the formula. He is wearing a black sculpted arm band with the Word LIfe logo and his wristbands feature the ChainGang logo. Mattel added the details for Cena's Underoos; they feature the Word Life logo. the rest of John is classic Cena formula, the long light blue Jorts and black Reeboks. The theme of the wave seems to be unique championship belts and this Cena features the Spinner championship..that actually spins! kinda! sorta! not really! the spinner on my belt moved like 1/4 of a turn and then seemingly locked up. i took it apart to see how it works and its a really simple design, but i needed to really shave down alot of the plastic to make it actually spin freely.
all in all this is a cool Cena; i feel like we have gotten this iteration of Cena a few times before but with different accessories. the spinner belt--although a cool concept frankly shouldve been done years ago for the simplistic design they ended up going with. im not trying to bash their efforts, its cool but as mentioned i did have to do alot of modding to get that center piece to actually spin when i flick it. its cool to have a chaingang Cena with updated features but honestly this figure really doesnt present any other amazing features-- it still has the decade old legs and shoe mold and includes no softgoods shirt for the attire. i do think Cena deserved a spot in Elite 100 but this figure just feels a bit lackluster to me. 🤷‍♂️
