Happy Figure Friday y'all FINALLY finishing up my reviews of ELITE 100 WITH THE GREAT ONE E100 The RockElite 100 wouldn't be Elite 100 without the Rock and he makes a worthy appearance in the lineup. This figure come to us wearing a badass softgoods Jersey trimmed in blue; opposite the Top Picks Rock figure. the jersey looks great and fits the figure fine but to be honest its innaccurate as he did not wear this style jersey when he was wrestling in these trunks. The Great one also comes with a classic pair of gold sunglasses to raise his eyebrow over. the head sculpt on this figure is VERY interesting. he is smiling looks really young, but has longer hair and long sideburns; DEFINITELY not accurate to the trunks he is wearing. the headsculpt looks good--i can absolutely see the rocks likeness, however it just looks so out of place for the era of trunks. going down the figure is classic rock torso--accurate for the trunks. NOW, the trunks that they gave rock are like 2000-2001 era trunks based on the font on the front logo. the trunks do look good, im glad they gave us something other than silver logo trunks. finally the piece de resistance is the Brahama Bull Championship. the belt came out looking amazing! the round center plate with massive bull and diamonds would have been a spectacle to see on tv. SPEAKING OF WHICH i do believe that ONCE AGAIN as far as timeline is concerned, im fairly certain that the rock was not wearing this style of trunks when the belt was set to debut. all in all this is a very good rock figure. 99% of people are buying it for the belt and to be honest its worth just that. im a huge rock fan and kinda a nerd about it but this figure seems inaccurate as heck. to be honest all they really had to do was choose a different trunks design. i feel like they were gonna do the red logo trunks from 1999 but realized they already did that look in the rock n sock pack and changed it to this, who knows. the headsculpt reads really young to me honestly want to put this on my N.O.D Rocky Maivia figure as i feel like it would look great. i took some comparison picks with the Top Picks Rock as that is currently my all time Favorite Rock figure and i think the accessories go so much better with this figure. i honestly couldnt find the red jersey to put on my E100 figure but i really feel like it would look amazing. E100 Thoughtsso i kinda feel like Elite Series 100 was a huge milestone for mattel. theyve been doing a great job with the line but as you could read ive been a little critical on the figures in this wave. not sure who ultimately is in charge of 1. lineup choices 2. attire choices 3. body recipe choices but all three categories have been a little bit all over the place lately. i skipped over the becky lynch figure in this wave because despite being elite series 100 i didnt feel like the figure offered anything drastically new over her other figures. a new headsculpt? a new attire? but still a stiff rubber jacket.......john cena came with no softgoods and the same legs that theyve been using for over a decade. stunning steve was decent-the belt strap should've been black but the figure was good. The rock is a good figure just really weird hodge podge of looks and eras. The andre was a great figure, glad to get a suited andre and FINALLY the andre 86 belt but it just didnt really feel like an Elite Series 100 level figure. i guess my expectation was to give us the best version available of all the TOP TOP superstars. a triple h with kneebrace, sledgehammer, water bottle and winged eagle championship. stone cold steve austin with smoking skull belt, vest and softgoods rattlesnake arm tshirt. the rock in the correct 1999 attire with brahama bull championship and softgoods top. Steve Blackman with kendo stick, glow sticks softgoods top and hardcore championship; etc not a stunning steve with nwa tv title. E100 was a great wave i like the unique belt theme they seemed to have ran with id like to see more of that but i just think some of the calls made in the wave created lackluster results.

^ While I usually prefer soft-goods, I actually think a plastic top (similar to the E91 and WM Hollywood figures) would have worked better with this torso/figure.

HI, IM JOHNNY KNOXVILLE AND WE'RE REBUILDING A COLLECTIONπΈπΈπΈπΈπΈ.............πΈπΈπΈπΈ E101 Johnny KnoxvilleComing in today is both a character and a figure i was greatly looking forward to! I grew up watching Jackass ALL THE TIME, one of my favorite shows, guaranteed to give me a laugh on any given day. Today we have one of the frontrunners of the show, the iconic JOHNNY KNOXVILLE from his wrestlemania match with Sami Zayn. the headsculpt on this figure looks amazing! it showcases Johnny in a smiling, mischevious expression and i can immediately see the likeness to the man when looking at the sculpt. Johnny is sporting some grey spiked hair and removable glasses that look and fit the figure great. Knoxville comes to the ring wearing a grey softgoods cape with red lettering reading "Johnny Knoxville World Champion". the cape is pretty quality and it both looks and fits the figure great. The body recipe- i could be wrong but i feel like there are a bunch of brand new unique sculpts on this figure as Johnny comes to the ring wearing a long sleeve red top with sculpted white elbowpads and a 'JK' superhero styled logon front and center on his chest. mattel went as far to include his hand tattoos on both sets of interchangeable hands. Johnny opted to wear some white shorts over his long red tights and mattel seems to have sculpted all the details to make this look accurate. going down the figure, Johnny has some sculpted white kneepads, long red tights, tall white socks and some converse style kicks. all in all this is a amazing figure. the headsculpt looks awesome, the body recipe and sculpt looks to be on-point for attire and scale and its a First and probably Last Time in the Line figure. to me, this is 100% a must have for the collection- that being said im admittedly a huge fan of Jackass and Knoxville and im very excited to have a mattel Johnny Knoxville elite figure in my lineup!

Happy Figure Friday Y'all!! ive been on the lookout for the RA Ultimates at wal mart and ive been on the hunt for the Legends Chase D'Lo figure and ive not found success with either ventures π ive been getting a ton of my pre-orders for Indiana Jones figures trickling in from Amazon, a pleasant surprise but I NEED MORE ROOM OMG continuing on today with my reviews of the figures i bought from Elite Series 101 E101 Sonya DevilleComing in today is someone who saw their last elite figure ALL THE WAYY BACK in elite series #69, Sonya Deville. This elite figure depicts Sonya from late 2021 as she comes to us in all black everything attire featuring a lot of straps and buckles on her attire. The headsculpt on this figure is great, it captures Sonya in a hair down look with dark eye makeups and black lipstick. her mouth is kindof open in this sort of serious, seductive? expression? either way i do see her likeness in the sculpting and the paint apps were applied pretty good to my figure, she looks great. this Sonya figure was given a cool softgoods jacket for entrance gear and i really like the quality of the fabric and stitching to the straps on the arms and around the waist. the jacket has a small velcro closure on the front and looks and fits the figure great. under the jacket, sonya is wearing a black top with both gloss and matte accents on it. the top features some buckles on the top straks and a belt going around her upper abdomen. mattel did a great job with the quality of her tattoos, they all seem to have been printed in the appropriate locations and they all look crisp and clear. Sonya is then wearing gloss black leather pants and tall black boots with straps around the upper ankle area. all in all this is a great figure. the headsculpt is on point, the quality of the softgoods is nice, there are a few unique sculpts on this figure, and the paint apps looks great. it is a TINY BIT of a bland feeling figure due to the all black color scheme the figure showcases, but that was Sonya's look during the time this figure captures and it captures accurately. it was cool to see Sonya back in the line after such a long absence but i dont think this figure is really anything to clamor for.

Happy Slammin Sunday everyone! already looking to wrap up my reviews of the Legends Series 18 today; i just wasnt a huge enough fan of Samu and Fatu to grab their figures. kinda/sorta happy that mattel chose both of them for the chase figures of the wave too, i really like the concept of doing a tag team like that hopefully they re-visit it with another team *cough LOD *cough. it was an opportunity for me to save a little bit of money and space in my collection. however i do remember seeing them for 50% off on target.com a while ago and was really tempted; i may buy them later on down the line just not a priority for my collection right now. Legends 18 Paul E Dangerouslythis is one of those figures that really brought the joy of the hunt back for me. i remember it honestly being the ONLY figure i REALLY wanted from this series and it obviously sold out fairly quickly on target.com. i remember checking back periodically and eventually locking in a pre-order. we've gotten to the point with target distribution where these figures are appearing on shelves way before their online availability is honored so even with my pre-order i was excited to find him on pegs. i went to target when whispers of these figures hitting were coming through and sure enough i found the entire wave MINUS Paul E on the pegs. scooped the Hogan and scoured the aisles hoping to find a stashed or misplaced Paul E figure but to no avail. went back a few days later looking for something mundane-not expecting to see anything new on the pegs but FINALLY found my Paul E in store! this figure comes to us depicting a younger Paul from the Dangerous Alliance years. the headsculpt looks great, not being used to seeing a young Paul E i cant say that the likeness is photoreal looking straight on to the face, but i definitely see Paul's likeness in the profile view of the face. this figure is utilizing a standard suited body recipe and he is wearing a teal? grey? stone? colored suit π he is wearing a white undershirt and a unique white tie with purple and black 90's era designs on them. for accessories Paule E Dangerously comes with his trademark cell phone and the antenna is removable for some reason? the phone is scaled pretty well and it fits in the open hand provided for this figure good. also for accessories, Mattel gave us a black baseball cap with a white ECW logo on it. its a little out of place for this look and era of Paul E, fairly sure he was already rocking the ponytail look when wearing the cap but mattel did their best to throw us a bone here. all in all this Paul E figure is a 100% must have, buy it, go find it and buy another for your cousin, too. its a great figure, the suit color and tie design stand out and are very unique for the mattel line and Paul E is a staple character to have posed next to your steve austin, rick rude and other Dangerous alliance figures.

Happy Figure Friday everyone! it got HOT HOT HOT this week π₯΅ one good thing was that i found the Ruthless aggression JBL in a wal mart on a business trip this past week! a little while ago i went on a basic figure bender and bought a whole handful of them. i typically only review elites but i guess these are part of the collection too, so they deserve documenting too! Network Spotlight Brock Lesnar Basic i originally bought this figure with the pure intention of stealing the head to pop onto the Ruthless Aggression Brock elite because this head is VERY reminiscent of the original Jakks Brock Headsculpt, imo. i decided to keep it as is because it is an attire we have not seen an elite of yet, so i guess i wanted to have this figure in the collection for the Brock lineup. The headsculpt shows brock with an open mouth, shouting, growling expression and it doesnt look photorealistic, but it does come across as a younger Brock Lesnar. the body and arms are classic brock formula and he has his early tattoos only; both shoulders and his back tattoo. Brock is wearing black trunks with some white flame/eye designs on both hips and if im not mistaken this is his debut attire? it wasnt worn long before he began to use bones on his trunks. finishing up this brock figure are some studded boots and they look great for an early brock. all in all this is a pretty freaking good figure. as i mentioned i do like the headsculpt as it does remind me of the old jakks head and i might honestly just pick up another one to get the head on the RA elite figure. i really hope that this version of brock sees an elite or ultimate release soon. Basic 56 Hideo Itamiif ever there was a wrestler that deserved an elite, it was most definitely Hideo Itami. i got this figure just to have the character in my collection--but im still salty mattel didnt make an elite of his the enire time he was with wwe. The headsculpt on this figure looks great, it genuinely portrays KENTA Hideo and i really like the paint apps they used on the beard, everything was applied crisply and cleanly to my figure. the torso choice is fine, the characters that used this torso in basic form typically would have an elite torso i could see working for Itami. he is wearing white wristbands and the rest of his attire is done up in a really cool black and yellow color scheme. he is wearing black shorts with yellow inserts on either side and the right leg features his japanese stylized "H" logo in black. his kneepads follow the colorscheme by having yellow fronts and black backing, and finally he is sporting black kickpads with yellow backing. all in all this is a great first figure for Hideo Itami. i wish we wouldve gotten an elite π but this basic looks good and still obviously looks cool posed among all of the nXt roster of the time. i was able to scoop this figure for under $15 on amazon so i mean if you can get a deal like that its a great figure to have in the collection regardless of basic or elite.

Happy Superstar Saturday! i popped out really quick this morning hoping to score some of the Ruthless Aggression Ultimates at wal mart but all that was standing was a lone JBL---which i literally just bought π no thrilling hunt results for me today; i should however be getting my new elite Dakota Kai figure in from amazon though, so not a total loss! Continuing the BASIC BARRAGE Amazon Exclusive Mankindthis is by far my favorite Mankind attire/look. i remember when this figure originally dropped.....i remember seeing it pop up early on ebay and people were paying $100+ for it just to have it. i actually bought this figure sometime in the middle of last year, just havent found a great time to share it until now. i got this figure for $40 shipped MOC last year when this figure was still routinely going for $75+ MOC. i dont know how i scored it but i did and i honestly was too hype on the deal to open it. LUCKILY, mattel is doing a re-release in the 3 faces of Foley pack and i think i will keep this figure MOC and tuck it away for a bit. i greatly prefer this release of the look over the later because they botched the paint job on the beard on the later elite version and this figure looks way better. Basic 102 Drake Maverickcoming in with this cool one is Drake Maverick in his green AOP attire. i wanted this figure because i like the unique look of it and i think he fits in great obviously with the AOP; i wanted the black attire though? ANYWAYS the headsculpt on this figure is good, it shows Maverick with swept back hair and a serious, stern look on his face. i can see the likeness and i think the sculpting and paint apps look great. Drake is wearing a green utility vest on this figure with a MAVERICK name tag embroidered on the right chest, and various pockets and straps sculpted throughout. the back of the vest features a lighter green/tan colored AOP logo centered on his lower back. Drake is wearing some tactical style fingerless gloves and TBH they look great on this figure. going down the figure Drake is wearing some olive green cargo pants and small black kneepads over the top. finally Drake is wearing some medium black boots. all in all i really like this figure. as i mentioned i wish i wouldve gotten the figure in black as he wouldve looked great with both the AOP and Shield figures, but the green attire is unique and it still looks great with the utility gear. Basic 134 Seth Rollinsgliding in is the drip king, seth rollins wearing a sharp baby blue and white suit. i honestly bought this figure to have another suited body for promos and i think the baby blue is really classy. i do think the suited body mold is a little bulky looking but i guess its supposed to be universal. This seth comes to us with a serious, straight faced sculpt; it looks good but almost seems like a bland, empty face. the likeness is on point and the paint apps were applied crisply and cleanly to my figure. As mentioned, Seth is wearing a baby blue suit with a white undershirt and tie and the colors compliment eachother perfectly, i could see Cody Rhodes or Ric Flair also sporting this drip. finishing up this figure are some white shoes with black trim, very stylish; que rico. all in all this is a cool Seth Rollins figure. even if youre not a seth fan i would suggest grabbing the figure and taking advantage of the head swapping technology we have these days and using it for a cool promo gear for anyone.

MonsoonMan The WM35 elite is a repaint of the Fan Central. Fan Central was the last TRU set before it became a Walmart series and then Amazon. Iβd imagine HHH, Henry, Big Show and Heenan go for a decent amount because it was a dying days TRU exclusive. I only saw the set once.

Mark was definitely a figure i had to pay a little bit more than average for and ive always wanted that heenan too but yeah, its routinely $45+

That CM Punk figure is FANTASTIC. Wow. Hard to believe that was both a basic, and so early in the Mattel line.

Happy Figure Friday Everyone! gonna start chipping away at some reviews for the newest Summerslam Elite Mr. Perfect BAF wave! right out of the gate i want to say that im not really an Uso fan π€ so i skipped on buying the Jey Uso figure from this wave and was able to get the Mr Perfect BAF parts from ebay Summerslam Elite Hulk Hogancrawling in under the barbed wire through the sand today is the one and only HULK HOGAN in the summerslam elite wave dressed in the attire he wore during the Desert Storm match against Sgt Slaughter! i was super excited when i saw this figure get announced, i really liked the unique attire and gear and the match itself was an insane match, go watch it if you havent. this Hogan comes to us all dripped out in military gear, starting with a unique american flag bandana to cover his dome and a brand new ballistics mask for hogan to wear as he appeared in the pre match promos. the mask and bandana look great and fit the figure fine, i havent tried fitting it on other figures, but it seems specifically tailored for the large hogan head, so im sure it will work on some. unerneath that entrance gear we get a re-release of the elite 96 hogan headsculpt. this figure features the classic tanned hogan torso and a brand new military vest tailored to fit hogan. this hulkster comes ready for battle weaing some baggy camo pants tucked into his boots; i think this is a new crotch piece but im not completely positive, and i believe these are the same baggy pants mold we have seen on past figures like slaughter, mustafa and sami zayn. the camo design and colors feels very retro, i remember having a TMNT Rocksteady figure as a kid that seemed to utilize this camo pattern and color. i think it looks great but if we're splitting hairs i think the hulkster's camo pants we just the classic brown/green/black/tan woodland camo and this figure seems to have a green/grey/black/tan colorway-i still like it but if i had anything to complain about i guess itd be that. all in all i really liked this hulkster figure. it was something unique, it was something special and im glad that mattel took the time and opportunity to let us have this look in our collection. i felt like this was very reminiscent of the Camo Carnage figures we saw from jakks back in the day.

Happy Superstar Saturday y'all! i stopped off at walmart this morning to see what i could see as far as the AEW re-stock, but all i saw was a lone Isiah Cassidy among all the same old ass figures that have been rotting on the pegs for years π the JBL RA elite was still there too which i find kinda funny becasue that wave has vanished as soon as they stock it. TODAY we continue on talking about the Summerslam Elite Mr. Perfect BAF wave! Summerslam Elite ZeusComing in today all the way back from his appearance at Summerslam 1989 is Zeus : the human wrecking machine. i could honestly never take Zeus seriously with the unibrow look and distant traveling eye, but it was the 1980's and things were just...different back then. I was actually pretty excited to have this figure as i missed out on the Hogan / Zeus No Holds Barred set and i really wanted that. As Mentioned, this Zeus figure comes to us in his gear from Summerslam 1989. The headsculpt on this figure is great, i can immediately see the likeness of Zeus as he is portraying his signature teeth bearing, snarling, growling expression with crossed eye. Zeus is rocking a clean shaven head with a lone 'Z' of hair remaining above his left ear. Zeus is rocking some really cool futuristic / sayian looking entrance gear; i believe this is the same gear we saw come with his ultimate and imo it looks and fits the figure great. it is very big and somewhat bulky, but it looks cool on this figure. Zeus was given the heavyweight torso on his figure, and tbh im cool with the body recipe they chose, it looks to fit him well. Zeus is wearing some silver wristguards, Black and silver tights, and matching black and silver kneepads. the tights are primarily black with silver stripes on either side with a slightly darker grey 'Zeus' logo on the outsides. he is wearing small black kneepads with silver pads on the front and the factory design seems to have them looking worn down and damaged. finishing up this figure are short black boots with silver toe paint apps. all in all i would absolutely recommend buying this figure for the collection. Zeus is a classic character and this is a FTITL elite for him and i cant imagine we'll get another incarnation of Zeus anytime soon because it seemed like mattel was striking while the iron was hot with him in the 2 pack and now showing up here in the elite line.

Happy labor day monday πͺ i hope everyone is enjoying their day and had enjoyed their weekend! ive got some more new figs to photograph today, really happy with the state of the collection as of late. been adding a bunch of characters and attires that ive been wanting to see in figure form and im grateful that mattel is providing! gonna wrap up the Summerslam Elite Mr. Perfect BAF wave today and then next idk i think i might discuss the Ruthless Aggression Series figures for a bit; as i mentioned i havent really been buying up a lot of older figures lately for fear that they will be re-released π but to give mattel credit they have been doing some great new figures as of late. Summerslam Elite BAF Mr. Perfecttoday we have the result of the Build A Figure process--a Summerslam 1992 suited Mr. Perfect figure! this figure looks great, the headsculpt looks amazing! i can immediately see Curt's likeness in the face and they did a great job of capturing all of his facial features. he is shown in a serious, straight faced expression and it works well for posing. i love the sculpting on his curly blonde hair, it looks great and is tied into a small ponytail. mr. hennig is wearing a black suit for this event, however he is wearing a new turtle neck undershirt sculpt instead of the traditional button up and tie look we've seen from most BAFs. his suit coat features metallic detailing on the left chest; small studs in a triangle shape, the back features a metallic Mr. Perfect logo with filigree design underneath, and his cuffs have large metallic stud detailing. finishing up this figure are some suited black pants and shoes. ALL IN ALL WAS IT WORTH IT?!? honestly--with most BAF waves im typically 2/4 excited for the characters and end product figure. i mentioned in my first post of these reviews that im not a big USO fan so i skipped the jey figure. i really wanted the hogan and zeus figures and was kinda borderline on the ziggler figure--only because we havent gotten a ziggler in a long time. the end product mr perfect figure is cool i know we got the warrior figure from this event but im not sure the macho man attire from summerslam 92 has seen a mattel releaseπ€ either way i think in the end im feeling that this wave was 3/4 worth it. the hogan was super unique, the zeus was also very unique, the ziggler looks great, the jey i guess was in the attire everyone else wanted? the mr. perfect figure also ended up looking really good and we dont get mr perfect figures too often so its a great look to fill out the timeline.
