Happy Stone Cold Saturday! i went out for a figure hunt this morning and there were a few more AEW figs sprinkled around my local wal mart, but i was able to score some new figures at my Target today instead. they had the unmatched 6 wave out so i picked up a 1/3000 brodie lee chase 🤩 Owen Hart and Malakai Black. Continuing on with some more Ruthless aggression figure reviews! Ruthless Aggression Stone Cold Steve AustinStomping a mudhole into today is the one and only Stone Cold Steve Austin. this Stone Cold Comes to us in an effort to re-create a jakks line figure that i distinctly remember seeing hang around my wal marts for forever. This stone cold comes to us wearing a softgoods t shirt with a large skull on the front with rays emitting from behind it and a 'Stunner, inc' logo beneath it and i believe this design is from approx 2003. i do believe that there were instances where steve wore this tshirt with some jorts, however for this particular look-Steve had the shirt tucked in and the sleeves cut off. i was able to fold up the shirt a bit to be able to manipulate it into looking how steve wore it and it makes this figure look 10x better than the factory option. Stone Cold also came with a gold chain necklace and a wwe branded microphone for accessories and they look pretty good with the figure. the headsculpt on this figure is okay...i...for some reason mattel chose a weird color for the goatee on this figure and its wayy too light, a bit frustrating because the figure is pretty decent and i like the sculpting on the head(albeit a little thin) but its the paint apps that consistently ruin what could be a great figure. They gave steve the classic torso option and this figure is wearing long, brown camo pants. all in all, i would recommend picking up this figure to be honest. Street gear Stone Cold figures are always useful and honestly you can mod the shirt and swap on a better head to bring this figure up to par. as i do recall the jakks figure was also not completely accurate to the actual look that steve wore on tv so this figure keeps the ball rolling down the line. beyond that, i also bring up the option/idea to make this into a Jon Moxley figure. just pop a dean ambrose head and arms on it and viola, a great Mox mattel fixup

Happy THREE MINUTE WARNING Wednesday!! Ruthless Aggression Eric BischoffComing in today is one of the greatest GMs of all time...HE'S BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER, Eric Bischoff! Easily one of my most anticipated figures to come out of the Ruthless Aggression line although most of the figures have been bangers anyway, imo. We were graced with Mr. Bischoff as a FTITL figure here in the RA line and mattel absolutely SCORED with this figure. The headsculpt on this figure is AMAZING. We get Eric in his trademark devious smile, cant quite tell if im getting booked to watch a linerie match or to wrestle in the elimination chamber, lol. the sculpting on the hair looks great, mattel provided eric in his signature jet black hair combed over as he wore it for many years. the face sculpting and paint apps are perfect; i can immediately see Eric's likeness in the figure and they even included a little bit of stubble paint apps to his face and it was tastefully done and applied. This figure is wearing a classic Eric Bischoff attire, they included a black leather jacket and they did a neat gloss/semi gloss paint job on it and it looks awesome, really reminiscent of actual leather. to be honest the paint apps make it look like it would feel sticky or tacky, but it most certainly is not. underneath the jacket, Eric is wearing a plain white tee and mattel did something really cool; they painted the shoulder areas black on the white t shirt so the white would not show through the jacket at those arm joints. finally, Eric is wearing some blue jeans and mattel did a good job choosing a great shade of blue for them; some figures have been given this ultra bold blue color lately for their jeans and luckily this is more of a faded, calmer denim blue color. for accessories we got a Microphone, interchangeable hands and an interchangeable head. The interchangeable head is that of the old grandpa pastor character Eric played during the Billy and chuck wedding. It looks decent but the hair is blonde? and it should most definitely be a grey/white. also.....i really dont think this head is appropriate to include with this body, he was wearing a suit as the pastor and it just doesnt work with the leather jacket and blue jeans this figure is sporting. i guess you could stick the head on an old BAF suited body and have the character but i honestly wouldve chosen something else to include; maybe a short hair or grey hair eric bischoff head? a three count hand for the 3 minute warning pose? a rubber karate top that cuold be swapped with the leather jacket? something else wouldve been cooler, in MY opinion. ALL IN ALL GO BUY THIS FIGURE!!!! RIGHT NOW! GET IT! this figure is one of the few where mattel really knocked it out of the park. the headsculpt looks amazing, the body recipe and outfit looks great and its a really important character to the wrestling world. the double jointed elbows help this figure hit those great looking poses and im so freaking happy that we have an elite Eric Bischoff from mattel. Go Buy It! Every Collection Must Have One!!

As someone also rebuilding a collection (potentially for more than the third time!) I've been loving this thread. Some really great pickups.
Especially wish I could get my hands on that Bischoff, very jealous - the UK just didn't get that line and he's particularly expensive it seems on the secondary market.

Coming in today with a TORRIE THURSDAYRuthless Aggression Torrie WilsonComing in today is the runner up/tie for my most anticipated figure from the RA line; Torrie Wilson! Torrie was easily my all time favorite wwe diva-had a massive crush on her as a kid...and probably still do as an adult, im so glad that mattel was able to produce her character in the line!! Right out of the gate i want to say that this figure is amazing!! the headsculpt on this figure looks phenominal; we get Torrie with some wavy blonde hair showing a happy, confident smiling expression and i can see her likeness in the headsculpt from all angles. unfortunately for me the paint apps on the eyes of my figure are off JUST a tiny bit giving her a small case of googly eyes, but at certain angles it looks decent. Torrie is wearing some 2003 era gear on this figure featuring a hot pink top with silver sparkles and pink shorts with a belt and frilly lace on the legs. the paint apps on the top of my figure are ALSO printed off unfortunately, the silver sparkles were printed more on her chest than her top. the paint apps on the shorts look great, they included the fine details on her little belt buckle and the fine details on the lacing around her thighs. Mattel painted on some large black elbow pads for her arms and gave her some small black kneepads. finally, Mattel gave Torrie her signature 'bell bottom' style boot covers in pink and she is wearing some black boots underneath. for accessories, Torrie was packaged with her pupper, Chloe and was given some interchangeable hands for making her entrance pose. all in all this is another absolute SCORE from mattel with this figure. Torrie was a character/figure--like Stacy Keibler--that came out of nowhere and i was so stoked and happy to be able to get a modern figure of one of my favorite divas of the era. the cool thing about Torrie was that she really was trying to be competitive in the ring as well as show off all the hard work she does training and keeping her body tip top shape. im a tiny bit upset that my figure had so many paint app defects, but it seems to be becoming a little par for the course from mattel as of late and i had to buy the figure online, so i really had no choice as to what i was getting. this Torrie Figure is amazing, i literally have no complaints. the headsculpt looks phenominal, the body recipe and sculpting is on point and i have no issues with the included accessories. i would absolutely suggest picking this figure up for the collection, Torrie is awesome, everyone needs to show her some love and support by buying her merch 😍

Wrapping up my reviews of the Ruthless Aggression series today 😪 coming in with an IF YA SMELLLL Saturday!! Ruthless Aggression The Rockcoming in today is the return of The Rock, appropriately enough 😉 i remember being mega excited for this figure when it was announced, however i was a little drained of the idea because it is a case of mattel always having a better version of the figure on the way. its like they whiff the designs on purpose just because they'll release a better version later on and still get more buys for a particular look. ANYWAYS; this rock does utilize the same headsculpt as the elite 48 Rock figure, however this one is sporting the new updated truefx tech WHICH was applied incorrectly to the eyes of my rock figure, making him look terribly googly eyed. the paint apps to the included sunglasses are decent, but i had seen a few on the pegs that had the lenses printed weird making the glasses look goofy. going down the figure, they updated the body recipe to the slimmer, less defined 'classic rock' torso which i do agree with because when rock returned as 'hollywood rock' he was quite slim. the tattoos look good on this figure, however i feel like they may have sized the Brahama Bull tattoo a little to big-it doesnt bother me too much because ive always loved the Brahama Bull. This version of Hollywood Rock does infact include the black leather vest, it looks good and fits the figure great. the piece de resistance of the figure is the brand new sculpt of Rock's Bull belt buckle. the sculpting looks amazing and the paint apps are done well, im really liking the added look of the buckle. if i were to add any criticism, it would be that they probably couldve sized it a tiny bit bigger, it was a very gaudy accessory and it was damn near the size of a small championship belt. there is a large golden bull in the center and gold detailing around the edge of the buckle, the center is filled with fine stud detailing to imitate the hundreds of diamonds embedded into the actual item. finishing up this rock figure are some long black pants and black boots. all in all this is a GREAT figure. i would say that it is the definitive version of the Hollywood Rock figure, but im really upset about the paint apps on the eyes of my figure looking off. i would still however 10/10 recommend picking up this figure for the collection. now we just need that goldberg in street gear and softgoods leather jacket for that debut look........ as far as the rest of the RA series figures, there frankly just wasnt enough interest from me to pursue picking them up. the shelton figure looked really good, but i never saw him in stores also my fandom for shelton lies in the WGTT era. i didnt want the Miz figure and didnt see it in stores, i saw both the edge and MVP figures in stores but wasnt interested in those figures so i left them.

Happy Superstar Sunday went on a figure hunt at the Wal Mart out of town and sadly didnt find anything i was actually looking for but i came home with the new Ruby Soho figure, so not a complete loss 🤷♂️ REALLY REALLY want those Ruthless Aggression Ultimate figures and the CM Punk Supreme 😬 E69 Bobby LashleyComing in today with an older figure, but a great figure-its the elite series 69 FTITL Bobby Lashley! Right out of the gate i will say this is an amazing figure. he is stacked with accessories and the interchangeable hands are perfect for posing this figure in all of the cool Bobby taunts. This Bobby figure is strapped up with gear including a black headband, a black hat, a black vest, a sledge hammer and a large tire! both the headband and the hat look and fit the figure great, however i personally prefer the look of the headband, it is so unique and it really looks cool. Bobby was given holdy hands to handle the sledgehammer accessory and the articulation allows a few limited poses; double jointed arms would help. Along with the holdy hands Bobby was also given Pointing hands which are perfect for hitting that signature Lashley arms out pose. the headsculpt on this figure is amazing; mattel did a great job of capturing the likeness to Bobby i can easily see him when looking at the figure from any angle. The headsculpt portrays Bobby with a confident, babyface smile and it looks really good especially for the time of its release. they gave Bobby the heavyweight torso and id have it no other way, it works perfect for his physique. Bobby is coming to the ring wearing some small black elbowpads, black wristbands with white trim and black trunks with a red and white "LASHLEY" logo on the front and an image of him hitting that signature pose on the back of the trunks. Finishing up the figure are some legsleeve style kneepads and tall black boots. all in all this figure is really impressive for being a FTITL and being all the way back from E69 the sculpting and accessories included with this figure were kindof shocking in a good way. i was able to get this figure loose but with all accessories on ebay for ~$20 shipped and thats an ideal price, but its worth the asking price when its MOC. its a great figure and if you want an early Lashley look, scoop up this figure no doubt!

popping in quick with a word life wednesday my dudes! 🎺🎺🎺🎺 Kmart Fan Central John Cena🎺🎺🎺🎺 coming in today is the genetic freak known as The Prototype doctor of thuganomics, mr. "you cant see me" so therefore "you cant stop me" JYYYYAAAAHHHHAAAANNNNN CEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNAAAAAAAAAAAAA. this particular elite figure is from the Kmart Fan central line and came decked out in red repping the raw brand and featuring a brand new hand mold--that i think has been discontinued. The headsculpt on this figure is...okay at best- it looks super cartoony for Cena and it attempts to capture him in a confident, smiling babyface expression. moving down John was given some dogtags to wear over his RAW branded red removable softgoods tshirt. John is wearing some red themes arms and wristbands, the armband is placed on the left bicep and it reads 'Cenation'. His wristsbands are also red however they feature a " U cant C ME" logo on the right wrists and "Hustle, Loyalty and Respect on his left wrist with the 👌 hand signal. John was given a heavyweight torso for this figure and then his classic jorts and sneakers. the jorts are a DARK blue color and the sneakers are white with black detailing on the shoe and along the side; i think these are some reeboks or something. All in All i honestly just bought this figure for the "ok/ Hustle Loyalty Respect" hand signals. they would be very useful on my bam bam bigelow figures. i dont think this figure is a MUST HAVE in the collection, but it does have that unique hand signal that could be used on a wide array of figures.

They stayed away from the HLR hand symbol for awhile because bigots have to ruin everything.

🔨 Have a Nice Day 🙂 E102 Commissioner Mick Foleyassuming the commissionary position today is the one and only Mick Foley. Mick is one of those guys who i was never able to own any of his figures until the mattel era, so i tend to seek to buy all of his figures to make up for the lost time 😂 this figure is great, i was watching the product full time during this commissioner era and i remember finding Mick's antics and quips to be really funny. ANYWAYS this figure comes to us from the era where mick took a step away from the ring, became a new york times best selling author, took off his mask, shaved his hair and became the commish of the wwe. The headsculpt on this figure honestly looks great! it portrays mick with an enthusiastic, happy smile and we can see his missing tooth which is a cool little detail that mattel executed really well. if i could reach for any complaints on this figure, i think i wouldve like to see the hair sculpted a little thinner or shorter and the hair color be a shade or two darker. this figure was given a cool softgoods flannel top with tattered sleeves that looks and fits the figure great. the flannel kinda sorta looks stiff on the figure, but ill take softgoods anyday over a rubber top. the body recipe of this figure i believe is still all mankind body parts, the torso does seem to be a little on the slim side for mick foley, but the softgoods top kinda pads that out. Mick was given his signature black 'Commissioner' tshirt and it was all painted on the torso and i dont really know how i feel about this look. its really the only thing that makes sense? but it looks kinda weird making mick look pretty slim as i mentioned earlier. Finishing up this figure are some Mankind style black sweatpants and white sneakers. the accessories shine bright with this figure aswell because mick was given his signature thumbs up posing hand and a newly sculpted Gavel Hand. the Gavel Hand looks really cool, i strain to find another use for this hand other then just a straight hardcore match or something brutal backstage, but it looks really cool when posing this figure. Mick also came with a black Commissioner plaque and his little Cactus..Jack. all in all this is a great mick foley figure and im really glad we got this figure to pad out the timeline of Foley. i do feel like the painted on tshirt on the torso is what visually throws this figure off a bit for me, but by all accounts otherwise its a perfect Commissioner Foley figure. 10/10 would recommend buying

Happy Figure Friday y'all! ive been out on various business trips lately and its actually been really fun popping into the local walmarts to see what theyre stocked up on. i was recently out in Salt Lake City and i found the Eddie Guerrero / Rey Mysterio Ultimates out in the wild!!! i grabbed an Eddie figure right away; snooped on the rest of the pegs-they only had various elite 100 and the wrestlemania series elites otherwise. as i was walking away i had a thought to take a look at the paint apps on the eddie figure and sure glad i did because it was a packaging error and he had two of the same headsculpts. i ran back and checked the other one and it looked good, so im glad--i had TOTALLY forgotten about the eddie ultimate figure. the next wal mart i shopped at had a T-Bar and Cesaro figures still on the pegs 😅 and then a wal mart i stopped at today had barely any elites but the top picks jey/roman and a stone cold Ruthless aggression that was fig swapped with a basic 🙄 also despite being under the impression that there was going to be an AEW figure reset---ive seen no evidence of this. all AEW figures are still rotting away, santana, ortiz, mjf, wardlow, anna jay, john silver-i even saw a Riho on the pegs still. ANYWAYS im gonna be wrapping up my reviews today for the figures i bought from Elite 102. the recent few elite series have been a great little break for my wallet. mattel has been lining up some figures that i just honestly dont need in my collection-not to say that theyre bad figures but they dont really connect for me; elite 102 i bought 2 figures, 103 is a complete pass for me, ive already gotten all the figures i want from 104, and i only want one maybe two figures from 105. E102 Gunther coming in today is another absolute banger of an athlete and a figure!! mattel really did this figure right and knocked it out of the park. the headsculpt on this figure is amazing, the likeness to Gunther is uncanny i recognize him from every and any angle. the sculpt portrays Gunther in a serious glaring stare and it works perfect for the character. i do feel like they did a little much with the beard stubble paint apps, dont think that was needed. Gunther was given a really cool softgoods red coat for entrance gear--it looks and fits the figure great however if i can complain about anything Gunther wears like a wool coat to the ring and i kinda feel like mattel could've done a little bit better on picking the material for this jacket. the fibers have a certain sheen to them and his real jacket is just a solid flat color. beyond that Gunther was given hands for posing and a brand new torso mold that looks awesome. Gunther made an enormous body change and im glad mattel celebrated him by making a whole new torso mold for him, it really makes the figure look great though. beyond that Gunther makes his way to the ring wearing his signature red trunks with black backing and a little white stripe decorating as the Austrian flag. finishing up this figure are some tall black boots and black and white striped socks going to his lower knee. all in all this is another 10/10 figure home run for mattel. this figure captures Gunther perfectly-the headsculpt looks amazing the body recipe is on point and the softgoods gear and red trunk look great when posed among the rest of the roster. my real gripe with this figure is that they didnt bother to include the Intercontinental title! mattel gets a chop for that, but you goota go buy this figure, it rightfully deserves a spot in everyone's collection! ✋

Happy Superstar Saturday y'all! hit my local stores this morning just to see what i could see and there was absolutely nothing new or exciting on the pegs. my Target still has remnants of legends waves of the past and a few OLD aew figures on the pegs--no ultimates whatsoever. my wal mart is another barren wasteland of figures from the past and pegwarmers. tons of roman and Jey uso top picks, buncha basics and loads and loads of old santana and ortiz figures from AEW. i did see a legends 17 ultimate warrior on the shelves--at my walmart--but it was a repack with a basic warrior figure? ?? very confused how that could possibly happen but it did and someone got away with it.. i think we're gonna get into the next LEGENDS series today! Legends 19 Undertakercoming in today is a figure i was very excited to see get announced because i was a massive Undertaker fan in his late 90's run and we dont really have a bunch of Takers from this time period so i was ready to shovel this figure right into my collection. This Undertaker figure comes in some BADASS looking promo gear, based on a promo pic after one of his championship victories; the picture depicts Taker wearing a brimmed had with medallion in a trench coat. this figure captures that look by giving him the exact styled brimmed hat with included medallion and the same styled jacket molded in rubber. typically i would destroy these style jackets in the reviews, but honestly the sculpting on this jacket looks really good and to be honest it fits the figure great and doesnt look excessively bulky. the headsculpt on this figure is really good, i believe this is a brand new sculpt for an elite figure it may have made an appearance on a basic, not too clear on that but it looks great it captures Taker in that late 90's look with the makeup markings on his brow and teardrop under his right eye. the headsculpt portrays Undertaker in a straight faced expression--it does feel kinda bland and pretty non-expressive but i do still see the likeness to taker in the face from all angles. i feel like the hair could have been a shade or two darker in color. underneath the entrance jacket, they gave taker a classic late 90's attire in that he is wearing a top that had the straps on the chest and details on the shoulders. i remember my favorite BCA Undertaker was the signature series undertaker and he was wearing this-or a similarly designed attire and this elite really hit me in the nostalges reminding me of all the fun i had with that figure. the sculpting on the torso looks really good, he is wearing a V-neck styled sleeveless top with strapping closure in the front and sculpted details on the shoulders. i feel like for some reason the sculpting details on the shoulders have been smoothed out by the hair or something rubbing on them, i think their molds may have been dirty or something when producing this figure 😝 this taker was given some long elbow pads and MMA glove styled hands. the prototype figure was shown with the cuffed style gloves and those looked AMAZING on this figure, i was actually REALLY upset when it was announced that mattel changed that, the cuffed gloves were takers choice during this era. i was supremely lucky to find a seller on ebay seeing a few pairs of the cuffed black gloves so i went ahead and bought them for my figure and it improves the look tenfold. theyre still not super accurate because Taker wore fingerless style--but i still like them way more than the MMA style. this Taker figure was also given some brand new sculpted legs featuring some straps and buckles going down the leg. once again with these details, i dont know if maybe the jacket was rubbing on them or something but the sculpting details seems to have been smoothed out by something--maybe their molds were dirty during production? finishing up this figure are some tall black boots. all in all this is IMO another BANGER of a figure from mattel. for me, the attire was super nostalgic as this was the era taker was in when his character really captivated me. the strapped top came out great in elite form and even the entrance coat doesnt make the figure look overly bulky. i posed my figure with the ForbiddenFigures winged eagle and swapped to the cuffed glove mold. i think had mattel chosen these gloves and included the belt aswell the figure would be an all time great. its still 10/10 recommended to add to the collection but a little extra would have made this FIGURE a legend.

coming in today with an I LOVE YOU Sunday! Legends 19 Brother Lovecoming in today is a FTITL figure for a cool old school announcer and manager, Brother LoooOOOoooOOveee. I was pretty excited at the announcement of this figure, i love(no pun) old school managers and personalities, i really miss them in wrestling they were a great asset in storytelling and furthering the development of any given character. This Brother Love comes to us with a brand new headsculpt of Bruce Pritchard and it looks good! the sculpting details look really good and on point and the sculpt portrays Bruce in a smarmy, somewhat disingenuous teeth bearing smile and it works great for the character. Brother Love was given his signature slicked back hair and large red-rimmed glasses. i do feel like his face was made a bit too bright and deep of a pink color, it wouldve looked much better in a duller, faded red but mattel went this direction. Brother love is sporting an all white suit with a red undershirt and white tie----MAJOR, MAJOR botch by mattel here by only painting red on what they felt would be visible on the undershirt, it looks really trash becasue you can clearly see what they did. Brother Love also wore his suit jacket unbuttoned, so yeah this was a bad choice by design team. This figure was also given some brand new sculpted hands with large gold and pennant rings, they look awesome and amazing! i could see these hands being useful on many other characters and i really like the execution by mattel on them. wrapping up this figure are some all white slacks and some white shoes with brown soles. For accessories, Brother Love was given a vintage style microphone and the big red Book Of Love. both accessories look great and go well with the figure, the microphone seems to be prone to bending or warping, so look out for that but the book looks great and the paint apps were done well on that piece. all in all this is a very cool FTITL figure for Brother Love. i have to dock mattel points for the wrong color on the face and frankly major points for only painting a triangle of red on his undershirt. this figure is worth having in the collection for the sake of having an official Brother Love figure, but its far from being perfect or MUST HAVE.

Coming in today with a Kick Any Man's Ass Monday!! Legends 19 Kama MustafaRepresenting the Nation of Domination today is Kama Mustafa. i was really, really hype for this figure, i love stables in wrestling and i grew up with the classic nation and i REALLY wanted a Kama figure to fit in with the rest of the Nation Lineup as the original figure was more of a debut look for Kama. This figure comes to us with i believe the same headsculpt as the original Kama figure, now only balder and with a sculpted goatee. the sculpt portrays Kama in a straight faced, nasty glaring expression and it looks just like Kama and works great for the character. Kama was given a Nation cap and a black Vest for extra gear, they both look great and fit the figure fine. Mattel changed the body recipe for this version of Kama, he was given the papa shango(?) strapped torso and singlet gear. im honestly not too sure why mattel didnt use the Kama torso from the debut figure as his singlets still utilized that strap design and frankly he was still yoked during that point, he slimmed down a bit during the godfather years. the paint apps to all Kama's tattoos look great i often forget how ink my man was but he really didnt have alot of free real estate on that skin. the attire looks really good in that it features the red, yellow and green traditional striping on his left side and a traditional white and black band around his upper left thigh. Kama was given some black legsleeves and small strapped kneepads for lower leg gear and finishing up this figure are some smooth kickpad styled boots. i tried looking up some reference pictures of Kama's boots during this time period but i couldnt source any good pics--however all of his old figures had these style boots too so 🤷♂️ all in all i really dig this figure, i was waiting to get this era of Kama for my NoD lineup and mattel delivered. i will say that i kinda think they shouldve used that original Kama torso and body recipe because Kama was still very big and imposing during this era but the overall size and height of this figure are close enough that the figure still looks good amongst the rest of them. if youre looking to complete your nation of domination lineup, by all means buy this figure right away! but if you see him on the pegs i dont really know that this era Kama Mustafa figure could be highly sought after. his character was in an enforcer role and didnt really garner that much attention on screen until he fully slid into the Godfather role.

Happy Sexy Boy Saturday y'all! i went on a fig hunt this morning, but i think i was just a day early as it seems all the new exciting stuff will be available tomorrow 😪 Target had nothing new on the pegs, wal mart still had the same old same old out. BTW i saw that the wal mart local to me had the CM Punk supreme figure available on their website for pickup so i ordered one; when i picked it up they handed me a Cody Rhodes figure and i just walked right back in the store and returned it. bogus. the wal mart out of town had E104 on the pegs and i almost bought the RA series Edge just because i was itching to buy something--ANYTHING but i left it there. both wal marts had the new Star Wars Bad Batch shippers on display BUT im just not going to pay $27 for a figure whether its a 'store exclusive' or not. ANYWAYS.... SHOCKINGLY SURPRISINGLY im almost completely caught up with my figure review backlog 😯 i literally have photos to share for 6 more figures and ill be all caught up. im obviously getting more figures and ill be sharing those but i really want to thank everyone for all the views, likes, and supportive comments throughout the journey so far. i just know as a collector there are many times i am thinking of buying a figure or i think of a figure and i cant ever seem to find adequate pictures for the figure anywhere, so hopefully someone finds my documentation useful atleast. ive tried to make all my posts search function friendly. moving forward, i kinda honestly dont see myself buying any more "older" figures for the collection. ive mentioned before but all the older figures i need are basically the "heavy hitters" and with mattel actively doing 'greatest hits' lines for both the legends and main line i see a real possibility of them re-releasing anything i would want or need. Defining Moments Shawn MichaelsComing in all the way back from the Royal Rumble 1997 is the Heart Break Kid, Shawn Michaels. This event took place in San Antonio Texas and HBK was sporting some appropriate Texas pride gear in his attempt to regain the wwf championship from Sid Vicious. This figure comes to us wearing a black cowboy hat and some softgoods entrance gear. the hat looks good and fits the figure great; i do feel like the head overall is a tad bit too big for this body recipe so in turn the hat also looks pretty big. the rest of the entrance gear is comprise of some sort've pliable vinyl material with the designs printed on them. Shawn comes to the ring wearing some sleeves with a bit of a red/white/blue color scheme and the designs on the sleeves are supposed to be reflectors-if i had ANYTHING to complain about its the fact that the reflectors just scream clipart to me. i realize that theres not a ton mattel can do with something thats supposed to be reflective IRL but to my eye these just look so secondhand. the same goes with the chaps; both articles fit the figure amazingly and i like the glossy nature and stretchability of the material but the graphics just dont look spectacular to my eyes. the headsculpt on this figure is amazing; it is really on that photorealistic border HOWEVER i feel like the head is sized a bit too big for this body recipe thus making it look a little off. i also do not like the facial expression or lack thereof; the face is amazingly bland for a shawn michaels figure and it is really kindof off putting. the hair sculpt is good, he did go into the match with some voluptuous looking hair that would have made fabio jealous. the rest of this figure is the classic shawn michaels body recipe. he was given his classic tattoo on his left bicep and wrist wraps matching his Texas pride attire. i do not like the paint apps on the wrist wraps; shawn pretty much always wore spandex wrist wraps and i think in this case mattel used reference material from the end of the match where his wrist wraps had shifted on his hands because the paint apps for the positioning on the figure are all messed up and do not look good. as mentioned, this HBK is wearing his iconic Texas pride tights featuring the texas flag inside of the classic heartbreak hearts. the back features the blue silhouette of the state of texas with the "Heartbreak Kid" script in white over the top. finishing up this figure shawn is wearing his classic black kickpad style boots with silver accents on the closures. all in all this is another great classic HBK figure. i have some small gripes about the figure, but i think the most glaring is the seemingly large, expressionless head. it holds an amazing likeness to Shawn Michaels, but "the lights are on but nobodys home". the attire turned out great, and ill always enjoy getting softgoods accessories over anything else. i really do wish that mattel wouldve thrown in a winged eagle championship aswell but they did a great job with the entrance gear.

Happy Figure Friday everyone! gonna get into the reviews for the figures that i bought from Elite series 104! E104 AJ Stylesflying in with a phenominal forearm today is the one and only AJ Styles, and RIGHT outta the gate im gonna say that this IMO the greatest AJ Styles elite figure OF ALL TIME. The headscuplt on this figure is amazing, it is super photorealistic, it portrays AJ in a sort of serious, focused expression and although a little bland feeling it really looks awesome the likeness is really there. this AJ figure came with a rubber shirt for entrance gear featuring the mask and katana logo with japanese script on the front chest. honestly i really dont hate the shirt despite it being the dreaded rubber, it actually fits the figure good. underneath the shirt, mattel made a GREAT choice here by upgrading our boy to the old sin cara torso and it looks really, really good for AJ. i think it scaled him a little better aswell, but having that tone really looks much better for the phenomenal one. AJ comes to the ring wearing a black elbow pad on his right arm that features a red P1 logo and a red armband on his left forearm that features a white P1 logo. this AJ was given the classic sculpted gloves and he comes with some always welcome 'too sweet' hands. this Aj is wearing red tights with black accents, a P1 logo with samurai on his left leg and an AJ styles logo on his right leg. ive always liked seeing AJ in the light blue and black colorscheme but he hasnt worn that in a while the red and black seems pretty frequently used in the elite line and that gets a bit tiring. finishing up the figure AJ is wearing small black strapped kneepads with some red japanese script on his left knee, and red and black kickpads with 'phenomenal' on his right leg and '1' on his left leg. all in all this figure is amazing! IMO one of the best AJ Styles elites mattel has ever done. i really like the headsculpt--i believe it was from the ultimate figure? but it looks so good and the new torso was an ace choice by the design team AJ looks great now. i do like the designs on the tights but the red and black colorscheme feels really overdone by this point. GO BUY THIS FIGURE! it is worth every penny and a spot in your collection!
