It’s obviously none of my business what people do with their own money, but I do really wish the consumers could change this business model after these sub par products and delays and lies. I can count on one hand the products that have actually been delivered as promised. Hayabusa, Adam Bomb, Cardona, Dino Bravo. Like those are the only ones that pop in my mind as being worth it. We, as figure collectors, really need to unionize! Seriously though, as long as enough people keep pre-ordering, there will still be pre-orders. Now if everyone could agree not to pre-order, things could change, but that’s never going to happen. I wish the model would change though I am in. I nominate PJ for our Union Steward. For me, not all that upset about the figure itself. More upset about the potential deception or change being discussed/announced right after the closing of pre-orders. |

Damn, those MoM look bad now. Only way to save them would be try and repaint the gold by hand. Now I don't know if these will even make my display shelf, they may not be better than my customs. Man, I had such high hopes and was singing the praises of this line, now I just don't know.

I don't know the toy business -- but either they were not accurate prototypes -- or they were in some way altered to look better than they knew the actual figures would look.
For all his issues, when Zombie posts a prototype -- the figure ends up looking like it, for good or bad.
Same with the major pod guys -- and then the bigger players like Mattel.

Mitch has separately posted artwork for the New Rockers that he's subsequently passed off as "just a picture" and not the final design
how hard is it for him to just be honest with people? post a pic of the ACTUAL production sample that will look exactly like the one you'll receive, and then post THAT image as the artwork for people to place a pre-order.

Honestly, I thought his MoM figures were always yellow. I'm not a MoM fan, I thought they were garbage in the WWF, and I'm not intending to buy them, but I actually think that the yellow pops and isn't a million miles away from gold anyway. It's all down to whether you're a buyer or not. |

if they're not toys, just say so. but don't call yourself a toy manufacturer and then claim your products are not to be considered toys

If those are the final product, then they look fine. I still prefer the original gold look, but these look good. However, there was one picture that was posted where the yellow looked really bright, I think it was one with the figures on the card. |
