Another poor customer relations move from ZST. Saying one thing then doing another. If it was a limited time pre order they should not be available again. And I noticed its for US customers only as well 🤣 I don't really see it as poor customer relations. The people who ordered in the first window still get theirs and nothing has changed. And now more people can order them. More units selling is good for everyone. The second pre-order window is only 24 hours, still quite limited imo. |

I would have serious doubts if he was to ever do projects that advertised being limited such as 1/1000 1/100 etc (which will happen) following this example it could easy lead to speculation that at any point Zombie can produce extra product out of thin air. |

Zombie he has lied, and put more up for sale -- for whatever reason. The value of the figures will be impacted by it.
It's unbelievable how everything this guy does has turned people against him. If he had been nice, positive, and friendly and stuck to his word -- everyone would be rooting for the line to be a success.

I mean the guys definitely sailing on the douche canoe, but if you’re buying figures for the sole purpose of sitting on them till they gain value to resell, it’s hard to feel for you. Especially when people might have missed the opportunity before.

Will have to wait until we get them in hand to give quality description. The original ETA was Dec-Feb. Z himself stated it’s looking more like Feb. There comes a point in production where everything is set and you’re about to press print and it asks “how many copies?” There will be more “scarcity” tactics deployed come the holiday season. When Cardova is involved bet your bottom dollar “plans” will change! |

I was able to snag an extra Sabu. Now, I decided not to pay my water bill as I only had an $50 in my account, but the investment is surely going to bring me at least $1K in the future. I can go without water for a month to play the long game.

Posts like the ones over the past few days are exactly why all those threads got shut down or deleted. I’m not disagreeing with anything that was said but for the sake of everyone else, please stick to retro figure news and artwork. Stop bashing people and each other.
To help clarify something that was being discussed: it may be possible that the Pre-orders were more or less reservations and ZST was planning on having the item in stock on his website (and possibly through other online retailers). If that is the case, it might change how some feel about future pre orders but it’s definitely worth tracking if you are a customer.
In other news, BWO by Chella has been unveiled. It isn’t my cup of tea when it comes to collecting but I think it will make a great addition to anyone building an ECW-themed retro collection!

It seems like he implied he reopened them for 24 hours in because he had advertising on the mat for the GCW show with Mox/Gage and Cardona/Effy. |

all I'm gonna say is, there's not going to be anyone clamouring for a Matt Cardona or Brian Myers figure long into the future, so don't waste money "investing" in figures that really aren't going to guarantee a return
meanwhile, Chella's bWo range looks awesome!!!!! they've clearly got some impressive lines planned now, especially with their upcoming British and Japanese legends, as well as expanding the female figure line

But it would be nice for him to take a break from signing and focus on his product being released. He has enough signed now to cover to series 5 or 6. To your point to Chris I am shocked that it’s ECW that’s going to have an epic Hasbro roster between ZST and Chella. |

I think I agree with you that the strategy of announcing each signing seems to be getting a bit much. On one hand, it’s exciting as hell to see someone announced. Then, our interest is continued when we see the reveal of the concept art. Then comes the prototypes in all their various stages…so there is pretty much ALWAYS news from Zombie. The only problem right now is that we are waiting on the actual releases. There isn’t much he can do to speed that up. He also said he wasn’t a fan of putting things up for pre-order while everyone was still waiting on the first series…so his hands are a bit tied right now.
These complaints are probably very temporary. I foresee many attitudes shifting once products start getting released. There will be buzz and excitement. Many people will love them and try to collect whatever makes them happy. Others won’t be happy with certain elements of the figure. People will argue, others will laugh. I just want to collect and see the collections of others. It makes me happy that people are producing these and helping to make a living not only for themselves but for the stars that we grew up watching and even the stars of today. I wish more people would take joy in the fact that even the worst figure from these lines would have been cool to have as a kid.

Honest question: How do you want him to "focus" on his product being released? Do you want him to fly to Asia and oversee everything? Maybe even do some painting himself? We're in the spot where it's just a waiting game at this point for S1. In the meantime, he's posting pictures of hard resin copies for series 2 that are being prepped to be sent to Asia*. This line is moving forward at the fastest possible pace to be successful. You don't sit on your butt and just wait for Series 1 to be done before moving onto the next wave. Otherwise, you'll have people bitching about the production time for Series 2. You have to keep grinding especially when you have competition signing available talent.

*On a somewhat related side note, this is really promising as he didn't show the hard copies of S1 until after pre-orders, so hopefully the gap between S1 and S2 won't be too large. I'm hoping once S1 and S2 really get going and he's figures out the flow of the process, the waves will really start rolling out.
