Already ordered Escobar and Crews. Huge pass on everything else. Something I noticed ... some of the scans are off. But the card matches it. You can notice this with the recent bald HBK. It's almost as if after the figure is approved and made, they make sure the card art looks like ... the figure! Just look at Piper, Charlotte, Priest, etc. Mattel think they slick.

Is it just me or does warlord's face paint look abit off? Plus it looks like his legs are thinner than the first pic we saw. They are thin. My custom Warlord looks way better. Dude was a beefy muscle brick. |

Warlord, Piper, JYD, and Escobar out of this group.
Warlord looks great, still hoping for The long shot of the Barbarian and Fuji to finish that group.
Piper. Good scan. But the WM scan with Mr T is tough to top.
JYD... an upgrade from the last one. Crown is a nice touch.
Escobar. The mask is sweet. Similar to the way they did Andrade

No retro reveals? Really hope we are blown away by what is revealed at CC, and hope it's not back to where they left off. Haven't they said from the very start that the next bit of Retro news is coming at SDCC? Well this is the lead up to SDCC, so I thought maybe we'd get a little something, small tease or whatever. |

After loving enough of the legends line so far to be invested this is the first set I feel really underwhelmed. I’m not against new attires, but will we get any new legends in the line?
Good chance I’ll pick a couple up, but I’ve got two dx displays already, so am undecided on the army set.
JYD I only ever needed the first one we got.
Nash I have his nitro pack elite, red outsiders and rsc wolfpac already. I’d have preferred to update the 2002 with an elite personally.
Piper I’ve no idea what look it depicts. I’m guessing 1991 commentators look? If so May grab that.

Hopefully though, Smyths here will continue to stock the CE figures, so I can pick up Warlord. RE. Piper - I think he has a likeness that is very hard to capture/get right... credit to Mattel for trying something new - but that scan/hair doesn't really work. Ironically, the HOF head (with a lighter hair colour) would probably have looked much better. |

The green DX spray paint logo on the packaging for Billy (and presumably the later DX Army figures) didn't exist until the 2006 HBK/HHH DX reunion.  |

Woah, that Kevin Nash is great, really hope the headband on him and Hall are removable though. Gonna grab him and Billy Gunn. I'm excited to see the rest of the DX Army attires now. Gonna pass on JYD and Piper though, as they're 20 years before my time, lol.
Probably will grab whichever Atlas and Green I come across in the wild.
E87 looks great, gonna grab everyone, but I can wait until I find Otis in the wild. Especially excited for Apollo Crews. Very happy he's getting the love he deserves after being overlooked for about 3-4 years. So happy most of the exclusives are legends I don't need, saves me some money!

Since I don’t watch the current stuff not sure who the purple hair lady is but she looks cool. Can see that being picked up just because it’s a different looking figure
The billy face scan is rough imo, I prefer the elite billy I have (not sure what series but come in green with white headband etc)
Nash looks great, don’t think there’s been a bad Nash/diesel - matters nail him

Might grab the Nash and the Piper but no thanks to the DX army. Really don't like WWE's revisionist history when it comes to the invading WCW on a "tank" and acting like that's what ended WCW.

That Piper scan is atrocious.
Maybe to avoid backlash from collectors they should release early stage prototypes before sending to production. Have us vote before making the figure...
